Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the leadership of the principal based on local wisdom in developing a quality culture at SD Negeri Banjarsari 5. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study method. This method is used to explore in depth the role of the principal in implementing local wisdom values as a leadership strategy, as well as to determine the characteristics of leadership and forms of quality culture applied in schools in order to create an increase in the quality of education. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and verification or conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the leadership of the principal based on local wisdom contributes significantly to building a quality culture in schools. The principal applies local values such as togetherness, mutual cooperation, religiosity, role models, and discipline as the foundation in school management. The strategies implemented include strengthening character based on local culture, increasing community participation, and developing learning programs that are in accordance with local wisdom values. The obstacles faced include differences in interpretation of cultural values among school residents and limited resources, which are overcome through a collaborative and innovative approach. Understanding the importance of improving quality culture through local wisdom to teachers and education personnel is the key to the success of this program. In addition, togetherness among all school residents and the surrounding community makes this local wisdom-based quality culture development program run smoothly. This study concludes that the leadership of the principal who integrates local wisdom is able to create a school environment that is conducive to the development of quality culture in elementary schools.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berbasis kearifan lokal dalam mengembangkan budaya mutu di SD Negeri Banjarsari 5. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Metode ini digunakan untuk menggali secara mendalam peran kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal sebagai strategi memimpin, juga untuk mengetahui karateristik kepemimpinan dan bentuk budaya mutu yang diterapkan di sekolah demi terciptanya peningkatan kalitas pendidikan. Adapun data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berbasis kearifan lokal berkontribusi penting dalam membangun budaya mutu di sekolah. Kepala sekolah menerapkan nilai-nilai lokal seperti kebersamaan, gotong royong, religiusitas, keteladanan, dan disiplin sebagai pondasi dalam pengelolaan sekolah. Strategi yang diterapkan meliputi penguatan karakter berbasis budaya setempat, peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, serta pengembangan program pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. Kendala yang dihadapi antara lain perbedaan interpretasi nilai budaya di kalangan warga sekolah dan keterbatasan sumber daya, yang diatasi melalui pendekatan kolaboratif dan inovatif. Memahamkan pentingnya peningkatan budaya mutu melalui basis kearifan lokal kepada guru dan tenaga kependidikan menjadi kunci sukses program ini. Selain itu kebersamaan diantara seluruh warga sekolah dan masyarakat sekitar menjadikan program pengembangan budaya mutu berbasis kearifan lokal ini berjalan lancar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal mampu menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif bagi pengembangan budaya mutu di sekolah dasar. | |||||||||
