Abstract

Araceae are herbaceous plants whose inflorescences are arranged in the form of spadices surrounded by spatha. Araceae plants can be easily found on Mount Aseupan. This research aims to inventory Araceae species on the Mount Aseupan hiking trail in Pandeglang Banten and analyze the facts of Araceae inventory research to be used as material content on the concept of diversity of living things in grade 10 high school. The results of the identification of Araceae obtained will be recommended as learning resource material on the concept of diversity of living things class X senior high school. The research was conducted from June to December 2024 using the cruising method. Based on the results of the study, 13 species of Araceae from 10 genera were identified, namely Alocasia longiloba, Amydrium sp., Amorphophallus variabilis, Caladium bicolor, Colocasia esculenta, Homalomena sp. 1, Homalomena sp. 2, Rhaphidophora foraminifera, Schismatoglottis calyptrata, Schismatoglottis kotoensis Scindapsus pictus, Xanthosoma sagittifolium, and Xanthosoma violaceum. Furthermore, the research facts obtained based on the results of the analysis can be explained material content for the concept of diversity of living things, including the benefits, roles, and examples of diversity of living things and plant groupings. Based on the results of the needs analysis, these materials can be poured into learning resources in the form of magazines, booklets, catalogs, and interactive E-books.

Additional Information: Araceae merupakan tumbuhan herba yang perbungaannya tersusun dalam bentuk spadiks yang dikelilingi oleh spatha. Tumbuhan Araceae dapat dengan mudah ditemukan di Gunung Aseupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisasi spesies Araceae yang ada di jalur pendakian Gunung Aseupan Kabupaten Pandeglang Banten dan menganalisis fakta-fakta penelitian inventarisasi Araceae untuk dijadikan konten materi pada konsep keanekaragaman makhluk hidup kelas 10 SMA. Hasil identifikasi Araceae yang didapatkan akan direkomendasikan sebagai materi sumber belajar pada konsep keanekaragaman makhluk hidup kelas X SMA. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni sampai bulan Desember 2024 dengan menggunakan metode jelajah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, teridentifikasi 13 spesies Araceae yang berasal dari 10 genera, yaitu Alocasia longiloba, Amydrium sp., Amorphophallus variabilis, Caladium bicolor, Colocasia esculenta, Homalomena sp. 1, Homalomena sp. 2,, Rhaphidophora foraminifera, Schismatoglottis calyptrata, Schismatoglottis kotoensis Scindapsus pictus, Xanthosoma sagittifolium, dan Xanthosoma violaceum. Lebih lanjut, fakta-fakta penelitian yang didapat berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat dijelaskan konten materi untuk konsep keanekaragaman makhluk hidup, meliputi manfaat, peran, dan contoh keanekaragaman makhluk hidup serta pengelompokan tumbuhan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan, materi-materi tersebut dapat dituangkan dalam sumber belajar berupa majalah, booklet, katalog, dan E-book interaktif.
