Abstract
This study aims to explain and analyze the implementation of the SAP system on accounts payable to improve control at PT. Indorama Polypet Indonesia The research method used is descriptive research. The data sources used are secondary data and data collection methods are carried out through observation, documentation, and literature. The method used in analyzing and processing the collected data is qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the accounting information system plays an important role in improving financial control at PT. Indorama Polypet Indonesia. The accounting information system provides accurate, timely, and relevant financial and non-financial information so that it can help manage accounts payable better and more accurately. And several internal and external obstacles were found: Internal errors such as limited human resource capabilities and skills in using information systems, external errors such as the security and integrity of financial data that is vulnerable to cyber threats. This can be overcome well by PT. Indorama Polypet Indonesia.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisa penerapan sistem SAP pada account payable untuk meningkatkan pengendalian keuangan pada PT. Indorama Polypet indonesia Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dengan metode dekriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dan metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan kepustakaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis dan mengolah data-data yang terkumpul adalah analisis kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi akuntansi berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pengendalian keuangan pada PT. Indorama Polypet Indonesia. Sistem informasi akuntansi menyediakan informasi keuangan dan non-yang akurat, tepat waktu, dan relevan sehingga dapat membantu dalam mengelola account payable lebih baik dan akurat. Dan ditemukan beberapa kendala internal dan eksternal : Kesalahan internal seperti keterbatasan kemampuan dan keterampilan sumber daya manusia dalam meggunakan sistem informasi, kesalahan eksternal seperti Keamanan dan integritas data keuangan yang rentan terhadap ancaman siber. Hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan baik oleh PT. Indorama Polypet Indonesia. | ||||||
