Abstract
This study aims to develop teaching materials based on Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) on the theme of Nuclear Power Plants (PLTN) to facilitate students' critical thinking skills. The objectives of this research are to identify the development process and determine the feasibility level of the developed teaching materials. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model as the instructional design procedure, consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In this study, the procedure was limited to the Development stage. The result is a teaching material themed on PLTN, structured according to the SSI stages and critical thinking indicators. The feasibility of the teaching material was assessed by validators using media and content expert validation questionnaires, as well as student response questionnaires to evaluate student perceptions. The content validation received a score of 77.81%, categorized as "feasible," and the media validation received a score of 79.16%, also categorized as "feasible." The results of the student response questionnaire showed an average score of 74.33%, which falls into the “interesting” category.

Additional Information: | Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengembangan bahan ajar Socio-scientific Issues (SSI) pada tema Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Nuklir (PLTN) untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan dan mengetahui tingkat kelayakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (RnD) dengan prosedur pengembangan bahan ajar menggunakan model ADDIE yang memiliki 5 tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Dalam penelitian ini prosedur yang dilakukan dibatasi sampai tahapan Development. Dihasilkan sebuah bahan ajar dengan tema PLTN yang disusun menyesuaikan tahapan SSI dan indikator berpikir kritis. Bahan ajar akan dinilai kelayakan oleh validator menggunakan angket validasi ahli media dan meteri, serta angket respons siswa untuk mengetahui respons siswa. Hasil dari validasi materi mendapat penilaian 77.81% termasuk dalam kategori “layak” dan validasi media mendapatkan penilaian 79.16% termasuk dalam kategori “layak”. Hasil dari angket respons siswa tersebut didapat dengan rata-rata sebesar 74.33% tergolong dalam kategori “menarik”. | |||||||||
