Abstract
This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of profitability and liquidity on firm value with capital structure as an intervening variable in companies listed in the SMInfra18 Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018-2023. The variables studied include Profitability proxied by Net Profit Margin (NPM), Liquidity proxied by Current Ratio (CR), Capital Structure proxied by Long-term Debt to Equity Ratio (LTDER), and Firm Value proxied by Tobin’s Q. The sampling method used is purposive sampling, which aims to obtain sample data according to the criteria needed for the research. As a result, eleven companies were selected as research samples, with a total of 66 observed data points. The statistical analysis tool used is IBM SPSS Statistics 23. The results of the study indicate that: (1) profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value; (2) liquidity has a positive and significant effect on firm value; (3) profitability has a negative and significant effect on capital structure; (4) liquidity has a negative and significant effect on capital structure; (5) capital structure does not mediate the effect of profitability on firm value; and (6) capital structure does mediate the effect of liquidity on firm value.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas dan likuiditas terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan struktur modal sebagai variabel intervening pada perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam Indeks SMInfra18 di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2018-2023. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi profitabilitas yang diproksikan dengan Net Profit Margin (NPM), likuiditas yang diproksikan dengan Current Ratio (CR), struktur modal yang diproksikan dengan Long-term Debt to Equity Ratio (LTDER), dan nilai perusahaan yang diproksikan dengan Tobin’s Q. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data sampel sesuai dengan kriteria yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian. Dari proses ini, diperoleh sebelas perusahaan yang dapat dijadikan sampel penelitian dengan total 66 data yang diobservasi. Alat analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah IBM SPSS Statistics 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan; (2) likuiditas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan; (3) profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal; (4) likuiditas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal; (5) struktur modal tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan; dan (6) struktur modal mampu memediasi pengaruh likuiditas terhadap nilai perusahaan. | |||||||||
