Abstract
Many teachers still exhibit suboptimal performance. The lack of human resources and issues related to insufficient facilities are also considered as factors hindering the improvement of teacher performance. Based on these issues, the objective of this research is to analyze the influence of professional competence and organizational climate on teacher performance in senior high schools. This study employs a quantitative method, emphasizing the collection of numerical data to be analyzed using statistical techniques. The population in this study consists of all teachers at a public high school, with a total of 45 teachers. The sample includes all teachers at the high school, also totaling 45 teachers, selected through the Total Sampling method. The data collection methods used include questionnaires and document studies. The research instrument comprises a structured closed-ended questionnaire and documentation guidelines. Data analysis techniques involve both descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study reveal that professional competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a coefficient value of 0.474. This indicates that improvements in professional competence will positively impact teacher performance. In addition, the organizational climate also significantly influences teacher performance, with a coefficient value of 0.572. If both professional competence and the school’s organizational climate are enhanced and well-conditioned, they will have a positive effect on improving teacher performance, which in turn will contribute to the improvement of educational quality.

Additional Information: | Masih banyak guru yang memiliki kinerja kurag optimal. Kurangnya sumber daya manusia dan masalah kekurangan fasilitas juga dapat dianggap sebagai faktor penghambat bagi peningkatan kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kompetensi profesional dan iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja guru di sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, yang menekankan pada pengumpulan data dalam bentuk numerik untuk dianalisis dengan teknik statistik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di SMA Negeri Jawilan yang berjumlah 45 orang guru. Pada Sampel mencakup seluruh guru di SMA Negeri Jawilan berjumlah 45 orang guru dengan menggunakan metode Total Sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu kuesioner dan studi dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket tertutup (berstruktur) dan pedoman dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian yaitu Kompetensi memberikan Pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, dengan nilai koefisien mencapai 0,474. Ini ditunjukkan bahwa peningkatan Kompetensi akan berdampak positif pada kinerja guru. Selain itu itu , iklim organisasi juga menunjukkan Pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,572. Jika Kompetensi profesional peningkatan dan iklim organisasi sekolah dikondisikan secara baik akan memberikan efek positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru, yang pada pasangan akan berpengaruh pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. | |||||||||
