Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of applying the graphomotor training technique in improving early writing skills in a seventh-grade student with cerebral palsy at SKh Negeri 01 Pandeglang. The underlying problem is the student's difficulty in copying alphabet letters optimally, caused by the lack of variation in the writing instruction techniques used by the teacher. The graphomotor technique is applied as a solution, as it is known to be a skill-training method designed to overcome writing difficulties. This study employed an experimental method using the Single Subject Research (SSR) design with an A-B-A structure. The target behavior (dependent variable) in this research is early writing ability, while the independent variable is the graphomotor training technique. The results showed a significant improvement in the student’s writing ability, with an average score of 20% in the first baseline phase (A1), increasing to 87% during the intervention phase (B), and remaining high at 60% in the second baseline phase (A2). It can be concluded that the application of the graphomotor training technique positively influences the improvement of early writing skills in students with cerebral palsy at SKh Negeri 01 Pandeglang.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan teknik latihan graphomotor dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa cerebral palsy kelas VII di SKh Negeri 01 Pandeglang. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi adalah kesulitan siswa dalam menyalin huruf abjad secara optimal akibat kurangnya variasi teknik pembelajaran menulis yang diberikan oleh guru. Teknik graphomotor diterapkan sebagai solusi karena dikenal sebagai teknik latihan keterampilan yang berfungsi untuk mengatasi kesulitan dalam menulis. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Target behavior (variabel dependen) dalam penelitian ini yaitu kemampuan menulis permulaan, sedangkan variabel bebas (variabel independen) yaitu teknik latihan graphomotor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 20% pada fase baseline 1 (A1), meningkat menjadi 87% pada fase intervensi (B), dan tetap tinggi pada fase baseline 2 (A2) sebesar 60%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teknik latihan graphomotor berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa cerebral palsy di SKh Negeri 01 Pandeglang. | |||||||||
