Abstract

Climate change is a global issue that requires deep understanding and science-based solutions. Education has an important role in equipping students with knowledge and skills to achieve sustainable development in response to climate change. Therefore, there is a need for teaching materials integrated with Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) on the topic of climate change. This study aims to determine the development process of physics e-modules integrated with ESD, determine the feasibility of e-modules, and determine student readability of e-modules. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D research model (define, design, develop, and dissaminate) which is limited to the develop stage. This research produced a physics e-module integrated with ESD on the topic of climate change to facilitate students' critical thinking skills, which was categorized as very feasible according to the validator's assessment. The results of material expert validation obtained a percentage of 88.2% with a very feasible category, media expert validation obtained a percentage of 86.7% with a very feasible category, and student readability test obtained a percentage of 93.6% with a high category. Thus, this ESD-integrated physics e-module on the topic of climate change is suitable for use in learning.

Additional Information: Perubahan iklim merupakan salah satu isu global yang memerlukan pemahaman mendalam dan solusi berbasis sains. Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk mencapai pembangunan berkelanjutan dalam menanggapi perubahan iklim. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya bahan ajar yang terintegrasi Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) pada topik perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan e-modul fisika terintegrasi ESD, mengetahui kelayakan e-modul, serta mengetahui keterbacaan siswa terhadap e-modul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model penelitian 4D (define, design, develop, dan dissaminate) yang dibatasi sampai tahap develop. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa e-modul fisika terintegrasi ESD pada topik perubahan iklim untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, yang dikategorikan sangat layak sesuai penilaian validator. Hasil validasi ahli materi menunjukkan persentase 88,2% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak, validasi ahli media menunjukkan persentase 86,7% yang juga termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak, dan uji keterbacaan siswa memperoleh persentase 93,6% dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, e-modul fisika terintergrasi ESD pada topik perubahan iklim ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
