Abstract
This research is motivated by the presence of students with cerebral palsy, characterized by spasticity and abnormal hand movements, resulting in difficulty in the precision of hand and finger movements, as well as poor hand-eye coordination. This issue affects the students' fine motor skills. One activity that is considered to potentially improve fine motor skills is the collage plup painting activity. Plup painting is a collage activity using paper pulp that involves manipulative and visual activities, which are enjoyable. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of implementing plup painting collage activities in improving the fine motor skills of students with cerebral palsy in grade III SDKh at SKh Ahsan Firdaus. This study uses an experimental method with a Single Subject Research (SSR) design, model A-B-A. The target behavior (dependent variable) in this research is fine motor skills, while the independent variable is the plup painting collage activity. Based on the research results, the mean level at baseline phase A1 was 40%, then it significantly increased to an average of 92.8% during the intervention phase B. Meanwhile, during the baseline phase A2, the mean level was 83.12%. This study shows that the subject’s fine motor skills improved during the intervention phase and remained at a high level during the baseline phase A2, even without the intervention. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of plup painting collage activities has a positive effect on improving the fine motor skills of students with cerebral palsy at SKh Ahsan Firdaus.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya siswa dengan hambatan cerebral palsy yang ditandai dengan kekakuan serta pola gerakan yang tidak normal pada tangannya sehingga kesulitan dalam ketepatan menggerakkan tangan dan jari, serta lemahnya koordinasi tangan dan mata. Permasalahan tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya kemampuan motorik halus, Salah satu kegiatan yang diasumsikan dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus adalah kegiatan kolase plup painting. Plup painting merupakan kegiatan kolase menggunakan bubur kertas yang melibatkan aktivitas manipulatif dan visual yang menyenangkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan kegiatan kolase plup painting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus pada siswa cerebral palsy kelas III SDKh di SKh Ahsan Firdaus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain Single Subject Research (SSR) model A-B-A. Target behavior (variabel dependen) dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan motorik halus, sedangkan variabel bebas (variabel independen) yaitu kegiatan kolase plup painting. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperolehnilai rata rata atau Mean level pada fase baseline A1 sebesar 40%, kemudian meningkat secara signifikan pada fase intervensi B dengan rata-rata sebesar 92,8%. Sementara itu, pada fase baseline A2 diperoleh mean level sebesar 83,12%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan motorik halus subjek mengalami peningkatan selama fase intervensi/perlakuan, dan tetap berada pada kategori tinggi saat fase baseline A2 meskipun tanpa perlakuan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan kegiatan kolase plup painting memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus siswa cerebral palsy di SKh Ahsan Firdaus. | |||||||||
