Abstract
Learning media plays an important role in supporting the success of the learning process, especially in developing students' critical thinking skills. This study aimed to develop Mobile Learning media with the theme of the One-Horned Rhinoceros, an endemic animal typical of Ujung Kulon National Park, as a contextual learning tool to improve elementary school students' critical thinking skills in ecosystem material. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The study results showed that the media was developed to analyze student needs and local context through an interactive Design process, expert validation, and classroom trials and evaluations. The validation results showed a feasibility level of 91% (very good category). The effectiveness of the media is reflected in the N-Gain value of 0.7171 (high category). The responses of teachers and students to the media were also very positive, 87% and 98.7% respectively. In conclusion, the product developed is feasible and effective and can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Additional Information: | Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan proses pembelajaran, khususnya dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Mobile Learning bertema badak bercula satu sebagai satwa endemik khas Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon, Banten, guna meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik sekolah dasar pada materi ekosistem melalui pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup lima tahapan: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan dilakukan melalui analisis kebutuhan peserta didik dan lingkungan sekitar, perancangan media interaktif berbasis lokal, validasi oleh ahli, serta implementasi dan evaluasi. Media yang dikembangkan memperoleh hasil validasi kelayakan sebesar 91% (kategori “sangat baik”), sedangkan efektivitas media ditunjukkan melalui nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,7171 (kategori tinggi). Respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap media juga sangat positif, masing-masing sebesar 87% dan 98,7%. Dengan demikian, media mobile learning bertema badak bercula satu tidak hanya layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, tetapi juga memperkuat keterkaitan antara materi pembelajaran dan potensi lokal sebagai wujud implementasi pembelajaran kontekstual di kelas V sekolah dasar. | |||||||||
