Abstract
The educational problem faced by the Indonesian nation is the low quality of graduates at every level of the education system.This research aims to analyze and describe the influence of academic supervision, infrastructure management, and the learning environment as mediators on the quality of graduates in Junior High Schools in Serang City.The research uses a quantitative method, with path analysis to test the direct and indirect effects of exogenous variables on endogenous variables.The sample was taken using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique.The sample taken consisted of 29 public junior high school principals in the city of Serang.The research results show that: there is a significant positive direct effect of academic supervision competence on graduate quality with a path coefficient value of 0.769, a ρ value of 0.000, and t = 6.256.There is a significant positive direct influence of facility management on the quality of graduates with a path coefficient value of 0.664, a p-value of 0.000, and t = 4.612.There is a significant positive direct effect of the learning environment on the quality of graduates with a path coefficient value of 0.665, a ρ value of 0.000, and t = 4.628.Academic supervision on the quality of graduates through the learning environment has an indirect influence and has a mediation effect because the Sobel t-value is 3.5877 > Sobel t-value 2.059.Management of facilities and infrastructure on the quality of graduates through the learning environment has an indirect influence and has a mediating effect because the Sobel t-value is 3.514 > Sobel t-value 2.059.This research proves the importance of implementing academic supervision and infrastructure management based on the learning environment in order to improve the quality of graduates.

Additional Information: | Masalah pendidikan yang dihadapi oleh bangsa Indonesia adalah rendahnya mutu lulusan di setiap jenjang satuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh supervisi akademik, manajemen sarana prasarana dengan lingkungan belajar sebagai mediasi terhadap mutu lulusan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kota Serang. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan analisis jalur (Path analysis) untuk menguji pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung variabel eksogen terhadap variabel endogen. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel yang diambil adalah Kepala SMP Negeri di Kota Serang sejumlah 29 kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: terdapat pengaruh langsung positif signifikan kompetensi supervisi akademik terhadap mutu lulusan dengan nilai koefisien jalur = 0,769, ρ value 0,000 dan t = 6,256. Terdapat pengaruh langsung positif signifikan manajemen sarana prasarana terhadap mutu lulusan dengan nilai koefisien jalur =0,664, ρ value 0,000 dan t = 4,612. Terdapat pengaruh positif langsung signifikan lingkungan belajar terhadap mutu lulusan dengan nilai koefisien jalur 0,665, ρ value 0,000 dan t= 4,628. Supervisi akademik terhadap mutu lulusan melalui lingkungan belajar memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung dan memiliki efek mediasi karena nilai t sobel 3, 5877 > t sobel 2,059. Manajemen sarana prasarana terhadap mutu lulusan melalui lingkungan belajar memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung dan memiliki efek mediasi karena nilai t sobel 3,514 > t sobel 2,059. Penelitian ini membuktikan pentingnya melaksanakan supervisi akademik dan manajemen sarana prasarana berbasis lingkungan belajar dalam rangka peningkatan mutu lulusan. | |||||||||
