Abstract

Effectiveness of Implementing Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model Assisted by Quizizz in Improving High School Students' Mathematical Reflective Thinking Skills. Department of Mathematics Education. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. 2025. This research is motivated by the low mathematical reflective thinking skills of students, even though these skills have a very important role. One of the external factors that also influences students' mathematical reflective thinking skills is the implementation of learning models planned by teachers in the learning process. Therefore, a learning model is needed that is able to support the improvement of these skills. One of the learning models that is able to improve mathematical reflective thinking skills is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Quizizz. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in mathematical reflective thinking skills of students who received learning with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Quizizz with students who received learning with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Cipanas. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Sampling used a cluster random sampling technique. Data were obtained from the results of the pre-test, post-test, and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the increase in mathematical reflective thinking skills of students who received learning with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Quizizz was better than students who received learning with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa, padalah kemampuan tersebut memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Salah satu faktor eksternal yang turut berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa adalah penerapan model pembelajaran yang direncanakan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan model pembelajaran yang mampu menunjang peningkatan kemampuan tersebut. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis yaitu model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan Quizizz. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan Quizizz dengan siswa yang memproleh pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Cipanas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Data diperoleh dari hasil pre-test, post-test, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan Quizizz lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL).
