Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) learning model on Generic Science Skills (KGS) on the concept of environmental change material. This study is a quasi-experimental study or pseudo-experiment using a non-equivalent control group design. The SSCS learning model is the independent variable and generic science skills are the dependent variable. The population in this study were all grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Wanasalam in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class X.4 as the experimental class and X.5 as the control class. The sampling technique was carried out by random sampling. Data collection techniques used KGS essay tests, KGS observation sheets, observations of learning implementation, response questionnaires and documentation. The Generic Science Skills (KGS) measured in this study include indicators of the law of cause and effect, mathematical modeling, logical inference, direct observation and indirect observation. The data analysis technique used the t-test to test the hypothesis. The results of the hypothesis test of the SSCS learning model on generic science skills obtained a t-count value for the final KGS descriptive test of 0.000 and a KGS observation sheet of 0.031. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it shows the effect of the SSCS learning model treatment on Generic Science Skills (KGS).

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) terhadap Keterampilan Generik Sains (KGS) pada konsep materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment atau eksperimen semu yang menggunakan nonquivalent control group design. Model pembelajaran SSCS sebagai variabel bebas dan keterampilan generik sains sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X di SMA negeri 1 Wanasalam tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas X.4 sebagai kelas ekperimen dan X.5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian KGS, observasi KGS, observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket respon dan dokumentasi. Keterampilan Generik Sains (KGS) yang diukur pada penelitian ini diantaranya indikator hukum sebab akibat, pemodelan matematis, Inferensi logis, pengamatan langsung dan pengamatan tidak langsung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t (t-test) untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil uji hipotesis model pembelajaran SSCS terhadap keterampilan generik sains diperoleh nilai t-hitung tes akhir uraian KGS sebesar 0,000 dan lembar observasi KGS sebesar 0,031. Berdasarkan Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan adanya pengaruh perlakuan model pembelajaran SSCS terhadap Keterampilan Generik Sains (KGS).
