Abstract

This research is motivated by: (1) the low implementation of work culture applied in vocational high schools (SMK), especially among teachers, as teachers serve as the closest role models for students; (2) the need to enhance teachers' achievement motivation in improving their self-capacity and updating knowledge to ensure the relevance of teaching materials, given the rapid advancement of industrial technology; and (3) the quality of learning achieved in vocational high schools, particularly public vocational schools in Serang City, still falls short of expectations, as indicated by the low absorption of graduates in the workforce. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the influence of work culture and achievement motivation, as well as to understand the interaction between the two variables on the quality of learning. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Data analysis techniques involve statistical calculations using SPSS Statistics version 23, with attention to prerequisite tests and multiple linear regression analysis.The instrument trial was conducted on 30 teachers, resulting in 60 questions across 3 research variables—all of which were declared valid. The final research instrument was distributed to a sample of 86 teachers from public vocational high schools across Serang City. The results of the t-test (partial test) for the Work Culture variable showed a significance value of 0.002, which is less than 0.05, indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that Work Culture has a significant influence on the Quality of Learning. The significance value for the Achievement Motivation variable was 0.000, which is also less than 0.05, indicating that Achievement Motivation likewise has a significant influence on the Quality of Learning. The results of the F-test (simultaneous test) showed an F count of 84.179 with a significance value of 0.000, which is below 0.05. This indicates that both Work Culture and Achievement Motivation jointly have a strong influence on the Quality of Learning. Thus, this study concludes that work culture has an influence on the quality of learning, achievement motivation has an influence on the quality of learning, and together, work culture and achievement motivation have a joint influence on the quality of learning at public vocational high schools (SMK) in Serang City.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan adanya pengaruh budaya kerja, motivasi berprestasi dan mengetahui iteraksi keduanya terhadap kualitas pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data melalui perhitungan statistic melalui SPSS Statistic versi 23 dengan memperhatikan uji prasyarat dan regresi linear berganda. Adapun hasil uji coba instrument kepada 30 orang guru didapatkan 60 pertanyaan untuk 3 varibel penelitian semua valid. Selanjutnya Instrumen penelitian diberikan pada 86 sampel dari guru SMK Negeri se-Kota Serang. Hasil uji t (uji parsial) pada variable Budaya Kerja diperoleh bahwa nilai signifikasi sebesar 0.002 yang berarti kurang dari 0.05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Budaya Kerja terhadap Kualitas Pembelajaran. Sedang nilai signifikasi untuk Motivasi kerja diperoleh sebesar 0.000 yang nilainya kurang dari 0.05, hal ini berarti bahwa Motivasi Kerja juga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikansi terhadap Kualitas Pembelajaran. Hasil uji F (Uji simultan) diperoleh F hitung sebesar 84.179 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0.000 yang nilai tersebut kurang dari 0.05. Ini menunjukan bahwa secara Bersama-sama Budaya kerja dan motivasi Berprestasi memiliki pengaruh yang kuat terhadap kualitas pembelajaran. Dengan demikian penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa budaya kerja berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dan secara Bersama-sama budaya kerja dan motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran pada SMK Negeri di Kota Serang.
