Abstract
In today's digital era, education is required to adapt to technological advances in order to create relevant, practical, and effective learning.The low conceptual understanding of students in History subjects in Grade XI of SMAN 2 KS Cilegon highlights the need for the development of interactive learning media aligned with 21st-century student characteristics. Based on observations and interviews, more than 50% of students face difficulties in understanding historical material due to monotonous lecture-based teaching methods. This study aims to develop and produce Canva-assisted interactive learning media that are feasible, practical, and effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding of history. This research employs the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). In the design stage, the media components developed include animated videos, digital worksheets (LKPD), quizzes, and infographics using the Canva platform. The development process involved media and content expert validation, product revision, and implementation through small-scale trials with 10 students and large-scale trials with 30 students. Validation results indicated that the media were deemed appropriate, with feasibility scores of 91% from media experts and 85% from content experts. Practicality testing showed a percentage of 86%, and effectiveness 87%. These results indicate that the Canva-assisted learning media are highly effective and feasible for use in history learning to enhance students’ conceptual understanding at SMAN 2 KS Cilegon.

Additional Information: | Di era digital saat ini, pendidikan dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan kemajuan teknologi guna menciptakan pembelajaran yang relevan, praktis, dan efektif.. Rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah di kelas XI SMAN 2 KS Cilegon menunjukkan pentingnya pengembangan media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa abad ke-21. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara, lebih dari 50% siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami materi sejarah karena media pembelajaran masih konvensiona menggunakan buku paket dan bahan ajar Lembar Kerja Siswa yang kurang bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Canva yang layak, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep belajar sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Pada tahap desain, peneliti menyusun perangkat media berupa video animasi, LKPD digital, kuis, dan infografik yang dikembangkan menggunakan platform Canva. Proses pengembangan mencakup validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, revisi produk, serta implementasi melalui uji coba skala kecil pada 10 siswa dan skala besar pada 32 siswa. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dengan persentase kelayakan sebesar 91% dari ahli media dan 85% dari ahli materi. Hasil uji kepraktisan menunjukkan persentase sebesar 86%, keefektifan sebesar 87%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media pembelajaran berbantuan Canva dinyatakan sangat baik dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik di SMAN 2 KS Cilegon. | |||||||||
