Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between certified teachers, school culture and learning quality in public primary schools in Serang sub-district. The background of this study departs from the importance of learning quality as an indicator of educational success, which is thought to be influenced by teacher qualifications and the school environment. The study population was all public primary school teachers in Serang sub-district. Data were collected using questionnaires to measure the variables of certified teachers and school culture with learning quality. This research is a correlational quantitative research with survey method and questionnaire as data collection tool. The results showed that: (1) There is a positive and significant relationship between certified teachers and learning quality. Based on the results of the correlation test, the Pearson Correlation value is 0.713 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, and the t-test produces a t-count value of 3.835> t-table 1.659, indicating that the higher the proportion of teachers who have teaching certificates, the better the quality of learning produced. (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between school culture and learning quality. The correlation test results show a Pearson value of 0.763 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, and the t-test results show t-count 5.984 > t-table 1.659, then H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. A conducive, supportive, and quality-oriented school culture is proven to contribute to improving learning quality. (3) There is a simultaneous positive and significant relationship between certified teachers and school culture with learning quality. From the F test results, it is known that the significance value of F is 0.000 <0.05 and R Square is 0.634, which means H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. This means that Certified Teacher Educators and School Culture together have a significant effect on Learning Quality. The conclusion from the results of this study is that there is a positive and significant relationship between certified teachers and school culture together with the quality of learning in public primary schools in Serang District. Teachers who are certified educators tend to be more active in building a good school culture, through initiatives and programs that support student character development and also need to be supported by a positive school ecosystem that encourages progress. The synergy between teacher competencies and a supportive school environment is key to improving learning quality.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara guru bersertifikat pendidik, budaya sekolah, dan mutu pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Serang. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya mutu pembelajaran sebagai indikator keberhasilan pendidikan, yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh kualifikasi guru dan lingkungan sekolah. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Serang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengukur variabel guru bersertifikat pendidik dan budaya sekolah dengan mutu pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan metode survey dan angket sebagai alat pengumpul data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara guru bersertifikat pendidik dengan mutu pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi, diperoleh nilai Pearson Correlation sebesar 0,713 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, serta uji t menghasilkan nilai t-hitung 3,835 > t-tabel 1,659, Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi proporsi guru yang memiliki sertifikat pendidik, semakin baik mutu pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. (2) Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara budaya sekolah dengan mutu pembelajaran. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan nilai Pearson sebesar 0,763 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, dan hasil uji t menunjukkan t-hitung 5,984 > t-tabel 1,659, maka H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Budaya sekolah yang kondusif, suportif, dan berorientasi pada peningkatan kualitas terbukti berkontribusi pada peningkatan mutu pembelajaran. (3) Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan secara simultan antara guru bersertifikat pendidik dan budaya sekolah dengan mutu pembelajaran. Dari hasil uji F diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi F sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan R Square sebesar 0,634, yang berarti H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Artinya, Guru Bersertifikat Pendidik dan Budaya Sekolah secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Mutu Pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara guru bersertifikasi dan budaya sekolah secara bersama-sama dengan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Serang. Guru yang bersertifikat pendidik cenderung lebih aktif dalam membangun budaya sekolah yang baik, melalui inisiatif dan program-program yang mendukung pengembangan karakter siswa dan juga perlu didukung oleh ekosistem sekolah yang positif dan mendorong kemajuan. Sinergi antara kompetensi guru dan lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung adalah kunci untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran.
