Abstract
The Food Social Assistance Budget is a form of government fiscal intervention to strengthen people's purchasing power and maintain national food security. This study aims to analyze the impact of the budget allocation on the Indonesian economy at a macro level, with a focus on changes in output, labor compensation, and gross business surplus. The data used comes from the Indonesian Input-Output Table of Domestic Transactions Based on Basic Prices (185 products) in 2020, using the General Equilibrium Analysis method based on the Input-Output Table. The results of the study show that Other Government Services products, which represent direct social spending, experienced the greatest impact, with an increase in output of 47.44 percent and labor compensation of 24.87 percent. In addition, Banking Financial Services Products recorded the highest gross business surplus, which was 9.41 percent, reflecting the important role of banking in supporting the distribution of social assistance. In contrast, Rice and Other Foodstuffs products experienced the smallest impact, with an increase in output of 0.0038 percent, labor compensation of 0.0020 percent, and gross business surplus of 0.0051 percent. These findings indicate that the allocation of the social food assistance budget makes a positive contribution to the national economy, especially through the government and financial services sectors, and creates a multiplier effect, although with variations in impact between sectors.
