Abstract
This study is motivated by the low performance of teachers, as indicated by insufficient planning, implementation, and evaluation in the learning process, as well as limited teacher proficiency in using technology in public junior high schools (SMP Negeri) in the Walantaka District of Serang City. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between self-directed training and teacher creativity with the performance of public junior high school teachers in Walantaka District, Serang City. This research employs a quantitative approach using a correlational model. The study population consists of 119 teachers, with a sample of 54 teachers selected from three public junior high schools in the Walantaka District of Serang City. The data analysis techniques used include classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing through Pearson correlation and multiple correlation tests. The results show a positive and significant relationship between self-directed training on the GTK (Teacher and Education Personnel) platform and teacher performance, with a significance level of 0.000 (ρ < 0.05), and a t-value greater than the critical t-table value (0.623 > 0.1674). Additionally, there is a positive and significant relationship between teacher creativity in learning and teacher performance, with a significance level of 0.000 (ρ < 0.05), and a t-value greater than the t-table value (0.580 > 0.1674). Furthermore, there is a significant simultaneous relationship between self-directed training and teacher creativity with teacher performance, with a significance level of 0.000 (ρ < 0.05), and an r-value greater than the r-table value (0.703 > 0.279). This study concludes that increasing teacher participation in self-directed training and the development of creativity in teaching can enhance teacher performance. Therefore, the self-directed training program on the GTK platform needs to be optimized, and the development of teacher creativity should be continuously encouraged in order to create innovative and effective learning environments.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pelatihan mandiri dan kreativitas guru dengan kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Walantaka Kota Serang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 119 guru dengan sampel sebanyak 54 guru dari tiga SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Walantaka Kota Serang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis melalui uji korelasi pearson dan uji korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pelatihan mandiri di Ruang GTK dengan kinerja guru, dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (ρ < 0,05), thitung > ttabel (0,623 > 0,1674) serta hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kreativitas guru dalam pembelajaran dengan kinerja guru, dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (ρ < 0,05), thitung > ttabel (0,580 > 0,1674). Selain itu, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan secara simultan antara pelatihan mandiri dan kreativitas guru terhadap kinerja guru, dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (ρ < 0,05), rhitung > rtabel (0,703 > 0,279). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan partisipasi guru dalam pelatihan mandiri serta pengembangan kreativitas dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru. Oleh karena itu, program pelatihan mandiri di Ruang GTK perlu dioptimalkan, serta pengembangan kreativitas guru perlu terus didorong dalam rangka menciptakan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. | |||||||||
