Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model assisted by Wordwall Buka Kotak media on the cognitive learning outcomes of class VIII students on the material of Effort and Energy. This study uses a quasi-experimental design methodology with a Non- Equivalent Control Group Design pattern, which compares two groups with different treatments. The research consisted of 70 students, divided into class VIII A as the experimental class and class VIII B as the control class. The experimental class implemented TGT learning assisted by Wordwall Buka Kotak, while the control class used the Discovery Learning model without the help of the media. Based on the results of data analysis, the average learning outcomes of class VIII A students reached 79.94, while class VIII B reached 68.8. This shows that the use of the TGT model with Wordwall Buka Kotak media is able to improve students' conceptual understanding better than Discovery Learning. To ensure significant differences in learning outcomes, an Independent Sample T- Test was conducted, which produced a significance value of 0.000. Because this value is smaller than the significance limit of 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the application of the TGT learning model assisted by the Wordwall Buka Kotak media on students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi quasi eksperimental design dengan pola Non-Equivalent Control Group Design ,yang membandingkan dua kelompok dengan perlakuan berbeda. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 70 peserta didik, yang terbagi menjadi kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menerapkan pembelajaran TGT berbantuan Wordwall Buka Kotak, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model Discovery Learning tanpa bantuan media tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII A mencapai 79,94 , sedangkan kelas VIII B mencapai 68,8. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model TGT dengan media Wordwall Buka Kotak mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik lebih baik dibandingkan model Discovery Learning. Untuk memastikan perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan, dilakukan uji Independent Sample T-Test, yang menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Karena nilai ini lebih kecil dari batas signifikansi 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan media Wordwall Buka Kotak terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik | |||||||||
