Abstract
This study aims to describe the form and function of directive speech acts along with the context that initiates Nadin Amizah's speech in the Selamat Ulang Tahun album. This research is based on the fact that songs in the modern media era have become a medium of expression that requires not only textual context, but also an extralinguistic context with sociopragmatic studies to dissect the layers of meaning of directive speech acts in the Selamat Ulang Tahun album that can influence the listener's actions. The research method used is qualitative descriptive in order to construct the reality of the data source. This research data was obtained using the listening method and advanced listening techniques of uninvolved conversation observation and note-taking techniques sourced from 10 songs on the Selamat Ulang Tahun album. The validity of this research data was conducted using the researcher's triangulation technique. The research was analyzed using speech act theory to find the form and function of directive speech acts and sociopragmatic theory to grasp the social, societal, and cultural context of speech. The research results show that there are 36 data of directive speech acts as follows: (1) 11 data for the requestives form; (2) 2 data for the question form; (3) 7 data for the requirements form; (4) 1 function for the prohibitives form; (5) 8 data for the permissives form; and (6) 7 data for the advisories form.The results of this sociopragmatic study also state that directive speech acts play an important role in showing the continuity of language use in the transition phase from adolescence, which is easily hesitant and uncertain, to adulthood with advancing relation and social status quality.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur direktif disertai konteks yang menginisiasi tuturan Nadin Amizah dalam album Selamat Ulang Tahun. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan lagu di era media modern menjadi media berekspresi yang tidak hanya butuh konteks tekstual, tetapi juga konteks ekstralinguistik dengan kajian sosiopragmatik untuk membedah lapisan makna tindak tutur direktif dalam album Selamat Ulang Tahun yang dapat mempengaruhi tindakan pendengar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif agar dapat mengkonstruksi realitas sumber data. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan metode simak dengan teknik lanjutan simak bebas libat cakap dan teknik catat yang bersumber dari 10 lagu album Selamat Ulang Tahun. Keabsahan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi peneliti. Penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teori tindak tutur dalam menemukan bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur direktif data serta teori sosiopragmatik untuk memahami konteks sosial, sosietal, dan kultural tuturan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, penulis menemukan sebanyak 36 data tindak tutur direktif sebagai berikut: (1) bentuk permintaan sebanyak 11 data; (2) bentuk pertanyaan sebanyak 2 data; (3) bentuk perintah sebanyak 7 data; (4) bentuk larangan sebanyak 1 fungsi; (5) bentuk pemberian izin sebanyak 8 data; dan (6) bentuk nasihat sebanyak 7 data. Analisis data dengan kajian sosiopragmatik juga menyebutkan bahwa adanya fase transisi dari masa remaja yang mudah bimbang dan ragu ke masa dewasa dengan relasi dan kualitas status sosial yang meningkat. | |||||||||
