Abstract

This study aims to provide empirical evidence and analyze the effect of the implementation of enterprise resources planning (ERP) on firm performance. This research is an empirical study on manufacturing companies that implement ERP systems in Banten, Jakarta and West Java. Specifically, this study examines the mediating effects of formal management control systems and informal management control systems and supply chain management (SCM) on the relationship between ERP and company performance. Empirical analysis of this study is based on primary data obtained from a survey of 100 manufacturing companies with 78 respondents, or 39.00% response rates. This study uses a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach with a test tool using partial least square. The results showed that the control system of both formal and informal management did not mediate the effect of ERP implementation on firm performance. Supply chain management mediates part of ERP's influence on firm performance. The study also found a significant relationship between financial and non-financial performance of the firm. The results showed that the implementation of corporate resource planning resulted in an increase in firm performance in the long run, and supply chain management helped the company achieve improved firm performance in the future..
