Abstract
The writing of this thesis came from concern about the complexity of the problem of environmental damage that occurred in Lebak Regency. Summarized in several studies related to environmental damage conditions ranging from small to large scales, the problem of environmental damage has a detrimental impact, especially on society. This problem was researched more deeply using qualitative methods with a case study approach, which can dig deeper into the problem of environmental damage in Lebak Regency. Then the data was dissected using Verdinan's concept of environmental politics as a tool for analysis. The results of the research show that the problem of environmental damage in Lebak Regency is very complex, based on several informants' statements that environmental damage in Lebak Regency is caused by the rise of illegal mining, ponds that violate AMDAL, and overloaded waste in TPAS. Not only that, the problem of environmental damage in Lebak Regency actually involves many actors, starting from the government, corporations, and also residents.

| Additional Information: | Penulisan skripsi ini berawal dari keresahan mengenai kompleksitas permasalahan kerusakan lingkungan yang terjadi di Kabupaten Lebak. Terangkum dalam beberapa penelitian terkait bagaimana kondisi kerusakan lingkungan mulai dari sekala kecil maupun besar, permasalahan kerusakan lingkungan tersebut membawa dampak yang merugikan khususnya bagi masyarakat. Permasalahan tersebut diteliti lebih dalam menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, metode dan juga pendekatan tersebut mampu menggali lebih dalam terkait permasalahan kerusakan lingkungan yang terjadi di Kabupaten Lebak. Kemudian data yang diperoleh dibedah menggunakan konsep teori politik lingkungan milik (Siahaan) dan etika lingkungan (Keraf). Hasil penelitian menyajikan terkait adanya kompleksitas permasalahan kerusakan lingkungan di Kabupaten Lebak, berdasarkan pada beberapa penuturan informan ditemukan bahwa terjadinya permasalahan kerusakan lingkungan di Kabupaten Lebak disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti maraknya pertambangan ilegal, tambak-tambak ilegal yang melanggar AMDAL, hingga sampah di TPAS yang overload. Tidak hanya itu, dalam permasalahan kerusakan lingkungan di Kabupaten Lebak melibatkan banyak aktor, mulai dari pemerintah, korporasi, juga warga. | ||||||
