Abstract

This study aims to develop a physics learning module based on catfish farming as a contextual approach to teaching static fluid concepts. The module is designed using the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) to enhance students' interest in learning and foster entrepreneurial behavior. The module was assessed by material and media experts, achieving an average score of 87.90%, indicating its high feasibility for use. Trials conducted with students yielded an average score of 83%, reflecting very positive responses. The module not only helps students better understand physics concepts but also encourages them to think critically, innovate, and develop entrepreneurial skills. The contextual approach, integrating physics with real-world activities such as catfish farming, provides meaningful and relevant learning experiences connected to everyday life.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis budidaya ikan lele sebagai pendekatan kontekstual untuk materi fluida statis. Modul ini dirancang menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dan menumbuhkan perilaku kewirausahaan (entrepreneurial behaviour). Penilaian terhadap modul dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan media, dengan hasil skor rata-rata 87,90%, yang menunjukkan bahwa modul ini sangat layak digunakan. Uji coba modul pada peserta didik menghasilkan skor rata-rata 83%, menunjukkan respons yang sangat positif. Modul ini tidak hanya membantu siswa memahami konsep fisika dengan lebih baik, tetapi juga mendorong mereka untuk berpikir kritis, inovatif, dan berorientasi pada pengembangan keterampilan kewirausahaan. Pendekatan kontekstual yang mengintegrasikan ilmu fisika dengan kegiatan nyata seperti budidaya ikan lele memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari.
