Abstract
This study aims to (1) determine the process of the formation of the Jakarta Book Party Community. (2) determine the activities carried out by the Jakarta Book Party Community in supporting the development of literacy culture in generation Z. (3) determine the benefits felt by book friends in the Jakarta Book Party Community in supporting the development of literacy culture in generation Z. (4) determine the obstacles of the JBP community in improving literacy culture in generation Z. The method used in this study is the phenomenological method with a qualitative approach. The data sources used are secondary data from interviews with 18 informants, as well as secondary data in this study in the form of archives or other relevant documentation, such as documents and documentation photos during the study. The data analysis technique uses 3 stages, namely data reduction, data display, and finally conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicate that (1) the process of the formation of the Jakarta Book Party shows that the literacy community can develop with a creative activity approach, the use of promotional strategies on Instagram, and the support of an inclusive social environment in Jakarta city parks. (2) activities carried out by the Jakarta Book Party community to improve literacy culture in generation Z, namely book party activities, joint library, play party, wandering party, bugar party, and talkeracy. (3) benefits felt by book friends in the Jakarta Book Party literacy activities, especially in developing speaking and critical thinking skills. (4) Obstacles in managing the Jakarta Book Party Community are in the aspect of management commitment and internal communication between management.

Additional Information: | Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui proses terbentuknya komunitas Jakarta Book Party. (2) mengetahui kegiatan yang dilakukan komunitas Jakarta Book Party dalam mendukung kegiatan pengembangan budaya literasi pada generasi Z. (3) mengetahui manfaat yang dirasakan para bookmates di komunitas Jakarta Book Party guna mendukung kegiatan pengembangan budaya literasi pada generasi Z. (4) mengetahui kendala komunitas JBP dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi pada generasi Z. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode fenomenologi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dari hasil wawancara bersama 18 informan, serta data sekunder dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa arsip atau dokumentasi lain yang relevan, seperti dokumen-dokumen dan fotofoto dokumentasi saat penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan 3 tahap yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan terakhir kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) proses terbentuknya Jakarta Book Party menunjukkan bahwa komunitas literasi dapat berkembang dengan pendekatan kegiatan yang kreatif, pemanfaatan strategi promosi di instagram, serta dukungan lingkungan sosial taman kota Jakarta yang inklusif. (2) kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan komunitas Jakarta Book Party guna meningkatkan budaya literasi pada generasi Z ialah kegiatan book party, perpustakaan bareng, bermain party, berkelana party, bugar party, dan talkeracy. (3) manfaat yang dirasakan bagi para bookmates dalam kegiatan literasi Jakarta Book Party terutama dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara dan berpikir kritis. (4) kendala dalam pengelolaan komunitas Jakarta Book Party ialah dalam aspek komitmen pengurus dan komunikasi internal antar pengurus. | |||||||||
