Abstract

The maintenance of equipment and the use of hazardous materials in school laboratories, especially in gravimetric practicum, still use a lot of hazardous materials, the application of green chemistry aspects in schools is still relatively low. The focus of this research is a development study that aims to 1) Develop a green chemistry-based practicum e-module with a profile that supports the practicum of the basics of analytical chemistry for grade X high school students, 2) Knowing the feasibility of green chemistry-based practicum e-modules assessed by chemistry education teachers and lecturers, and 3) Knowing the students' response to green chemistry-based practicum e-modules on the basics of analytical chemistry material, while the model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The participants in this study consisted of 36 students of class XI Analytical Chemistry-1 at SMK Negeri 2 Pandeglang. Data collection was carried out through validation sheets from experts analyzed by the Aiken's V formula to evaluate the suitability of the practicum e-modules that had been developed. Questionnaires filled out by students were used to assess the feasibility and benefits of the practicum e-module. The material validity results showed an average value of 0.90 which was declared valid, while the media validity reached 0.89 so it was feasible to use. Responses from 36 students to the e-module showed a value of 86.50% (very good), and the response to the application of green chemistry principles in practicum reached 87.55% (very good). Thus, the developed e-module is feasible to use.

Additional Information: Pemeliharaan alat dan penggunaan bahan berbahaya dilaboratorium sekolah terutama pada praktikum gravimetri masih banyak menggunakan bahan-bahan berbahaya, penerapan aspek green chemistry di sekolah masih tergolong rendah. Fokus penelitian ini adalah sebuah studi pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk 1) Mengembangkan e-modul praktikum berbasis green chemistry dengan profil yang mendukung praktikum dasar-dasar kimia analis untuk siswa SMK kelas X, 2) Mengetahui kelayakan e-modul praktikum berbasis green chemistry yang dinilai oleh guru dan dosen pendidikan kimia, dan 3) Mengetahui respons peserta didik terhadap e-modul praktikum berbasis green chemistry pada materi dasar-dasar kimia analis, adapun model yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas XI Kimia Analis-1 di SMK Negeri 2 Pandeglang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar validasi dari para ahli yang dianalisis dengan rumus Aiken's V untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian e-modul praktikum yang telah dikembangkan. Angket yang diisi oleh siswa digunakan untuk menilai kelayakan dan manfaat dari e-modul praktikum tersebut. Hasil validitas materi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 0,90 yang dinyatakan valid, sedangkan validitas media mencapai 0,89 sehingga layak digunakan. Respons dari 36 peserta didik terhadap e-modul menunjukkan nilai 86,50% (sangat baik), dan respons terhadap penerapan prinsip green chemistry dalam praktikum mencapai 87,55% (sangat baik). Dengan demikian, e-modul yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan.
