Abstract
This study aims to gain a deeper understanding of the role of BPMP Banten in the mentoring program for the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) by teachers, as well as to identify supporting factors and obstacles encountered. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that BPMP Banten has carried out its role effectively through mentoring programs such as socialization, sharing best practices, as well as advocacy and school monitoring. Supporting factors contributing to the success of the mentoring program include the availability of competent human resources, relevant materials aligned with teachers' needs, good coordination management, and collaboration with the Department of Education, BGP Banten, and schools. However, challenges also arose during implementation, such as the low motivation among teachers to utilize the PMM, which remains an issue. To address this problem, BPMP Banten conducts advocacy and direct monitoring visits to schools in order to observe and strengthen the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum through PMM, as well as to help schools overcome their difficulties.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam mengenai peran BPMP Banten dalam program pendampingan penggunaan Platform Merdeka Mengajar kepada guru, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung, dan faktor hambatan yang dihadapi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BPMP Banten telah menjalankan perannya dengan baik melalui program pendampingan sosialisasi, berbagi praktik baik, serta advokasi dan monitoring ke sekolah. Terdapat faktor pendukung dari keberhasilan program pendampingan tersebut seperti tersedianya SDM yang kompeten, relevansi materi sesuai kebutuhan guru, manajemen koordinasi yang baik, dan koordinasi dengan Dinas Pendidikan, BGP Banten dan sekolah. Dalam pelaksanaannya juga terjadi faktor penghambat seperti rendahnya motivasi guru dalam memanfaatkan PMM masih menjadi masalah saat ini. Untuk menghadapi persoalan itu BPMP Banten melakukan kegiatan advokasi dan monitoring secara langsung ke sekolah agar dapat memantau dan memberikan penguatan tentang pengimplemantasian Kurikulum Merdeka melalui PMM serta mengatasi kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh sekolah. | |||||||||
