Abstract
This study aims to improve the understanding of the concept of private body parts in Down Syndrome children at the age of puberty at the SMPLB level using Board media at SKh Negeri 01 Cilegon City. This type of research is action research with the Kemmis and McTaggart research design which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this study were Down Syndrome students who had entered puberty at SKh Negeri 01 Cilegon City, totaling 2 people. Data collection was carried out using the test method of understanding the concept of private body parts. Data analysis in this study used a quantitative descriptive method. The results of the study showed that Magnetic Board media can help improve the understanding of the concept of private body parts in Down Syndrome children at puberty at SKh Negeri 01 Cilegon City. The introduction of understanding the concept of private body parts. The material is in accordance with the Physical and Spiritual Education (PJOK) subject and the material is delivered by visualizing with pictures attached to the Magnetic Board. Before being implemented using the Magnetic Board media, students underwent a Pre-Test for initial understanding of the concept of private parts. FM students obtained 50 and AP students obtained 34. After the cycle I action was carried out, FM students obtained 67 and AP students obtained 58. In this cycle I, there was an increase in the scores obtained by FM and AP students but it was not included in the KKM that had been determined, namely 70. The implementation of cycle II was carried out to improve the shortcomings in cycle I and there was an increase in FM students, namely obtaining 92 and AP students obtaining 75.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bagian tubuh pribadi pada anak Down Syndrome pada usia pubertas tingkat SMPLB menggunakan media Magnetic Board di SKh Negeri 01 Kota Cilegon. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan (Action Research) dengan desain penelitian Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik Down Syndrome yang sudah memasuki usia pubertas di SKh Negeri 01 Kota Cilegon yang berjumlah 2 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes pemahaman konsep bagian tubuh pribadi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media Magnetic Board dapat membantu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bagian tubuh pribadi pada anak Down Syndrome usia pubertas di SKh Negeri 01 Kota Cilegon. Pengenalan pemahaman konsep bagian tubuh pribadi ini dilakukan dengan cara mengenalkan nama – nama bagian tubuh pribadi. Materi tersebut sesuai dengan mata pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani dan Rohani (PJOK) dan materi tersebut disampaikan dengan cara memvisualisasikan dengan gambar yang ditempelkan pada Magnetic Board. Sebelum di terapkan menggunakan media Magnetic Board, peserta didik menjalani Pre-Test pemahaman awal konsep bagian pribadi. Peserta didik FM memperoleh 50 dan peserta didik AP memperoleh 34. Setelah dilakukan tindakan siklus I peserta didik FM memperoleh 67 dan peserta didik AP memperoleh 58. Pada siklus I ini telah terjadi peningkatan skor yang di peroleh oleh peserta didi FM dan AP namun belum termasuk kedalam KKM yang telah di tentukan yaitu 70. Pelaksanaan siklus II ini dilakukan guna memperbaiki kekurangan pada siklus I dan terjadi peningkatan pada peserta didik FM yaitu memperoleh 92 dan peserta didik AP memperoleh 75. | |||||||||
