Abstract
This study aims to analyze the production costs of the tempeh processing industry in Serang City, including investment costs, fixed costs, depreciation costs, variable costs, as well as analyzing revenue, income, R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, Break Even Point (BEP) units and prices, as well as Payback Period (PP).The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive with primary and secondary data. The research location was chosen purposively, and data was collected through observation, interviews and literature study. The analysis used includes analysis of costs, revenues, income, R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, Break Even Point (BEP), and Payback Period (PP). The research results show that the average total cost of tempe production in Serang City is Rp. 710.216 per production, with an average receipt of Rp. 1.440.000, and the average income is Rp. 729.784. An R/C ratio of 2,03 shows that this business is efficient and feasible to run (>1). An B/C Ratio of 1,03 shows that this business is profitable and has the potential to be developed (>1). The BEP unit is 11 units, so the profit obtained during production reaches 11 units, while the BEP price is Rp. 1.973 per tempeh shows that profits are achieved if the selling price is above Rp. 1.973 per tempeh. Payback Period (PP) is 0,12 which shows a return on capital within 1 month 6 days.

| Additional Information: | Tempe adalah makanan yang dihasilkan melalui proses fermentasi biji kedelai atau bahan lain dengan bantuan kapang Rhizopus, seperti Rhizopus oligosporus, Rhizopus oryzae, Rhizopus stolonifer (kapang roti), atau Rhizopus arrhizus. Kapang ini membentuk benang-benang putih halus (hifa) yang tumbuh di permukaan biji kedelai, kemudian menyatu menjadi miselium berwarna putih. Proses pembuatan tempe melibatkan pencampuran biji kedelai dengan ragi tempe, dilanjutkan dengan fermentasi. Jamur dalam tempe memproduksi enzim-enzim seperti protease (menguraikan protein menjadi peptida dan asam amino bebas), lipase (menguraikan lemak menjadi asam lemak), dan amilase (menguraikan karbohidrat kompleks menjadi karbohidrat sederhana). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis biaya produksi industri tempe di Kota Serang, mencakup biaya investasi, biaya tetap, biaya penyusutan, biaya variabel, serta melakukan analisis penerimaan, pendapatan, R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, Break Even Point (BEP) unit dan harga, serta Payback Period (PP). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan data primer dan sekunder. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara sengaja (purposive), dan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Analisis yang digunakan meliputi analisis biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan, R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, Break Even Point (BEP), dan Payback Period (PP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata total biaya produksi tempe di Kota Serang rata-rata sebesar Rp.710.216 per produksi, dengan rata-rata penerimaan Rp. 1.440.000, dan rata-rata pendapatan Rp. 729.784. R/C Ratio sebesar 2,03 menunjukkan usaha ini efisien dan layak dijalankan (>1). B/C Ratio sebesar 1,03 menunjukkan usaha ini bermanfaat dan memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan (>1). BEP unit sebesar 11 unit, jadi keuntungan yang diperoleh saat produksi mencapai 11 unit, sedangkan BEP harga Rp. 1.973 per tempe menunjukkan keuntungan tercapai jika harga jual di atas Rp. 1.973 per tempe. Payback Period (PP) sebesar 0,12 yang menunjukkan pengembalian modal dalam waktu 1 bulan. 6 hari. | |||||||||
