Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of the index card match learning model on improving students' learning outcomes. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with the sample consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The instrument used in this research is a pretest-posttest questionnaire. Data analysis techniques include normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using t-test. Based on the hypothesis test results using the t-test, it shows that the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the data analysis indicate that there is a difference between the learning outcomes of students using the conventional learning model and those using the index card match learning model. Therefore, the index card match learning model has an effect on improving students' learning outcomes.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran index card match dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari dua kelas yakni kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal pretest-posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran index card match. Sehingga model pembelajaran index card match memiliki pengaruh dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
