Abstract
The shallot seedling business using True Shallot Seed (TSS) technology at H. Asep Bibit SMEs, Pasirwangi District, Garut Regency, West Java, has been operating, but a comprehensive economic analysis to assess its feasibility has not yet been conducted. This study aims to analyze the profitability and efficiency of the shallot seedling business using TSS technology through a qualitative descriptive method. Profitability analysis was conducted by calculating total revenue, total cost, and the R/C Ratio, while business efficiency was analyzed using the Break-Even Point (BEP) method. The study shows that this business generates a net profit of IDR 1,232,058.35 per month, with an R/C Ratio of 1.15, indicating profitability. The revenue BEP is IDR 433,868.92, and the production BEP is 2,818.64 seedlings, far below the actual production of 60,000 seedlings, proving business efficiency. It is recommended to scale up production, expand market reach, adopt technology, and regularly evaluate the R/C Ratio and BEP to maintain profitability.

| Additional Information: | Bisnis bibit bawang merah dengan menggunakan teknologi Benih Bawang Merah Asli (True Shallot Seed/TSS) di UMKM H. Asep Bibit, Kecamatan Pasirwangi, Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat, sudah berjalan, namun analisis ekonomi yang komprehensif untuk menilai kelayakannya belum dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profitabilitas dan efisiensi bisnis bibit bawang merah menggunakan teknologi TSS melalui metode deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis profitabilitas dilakukan dengan menghitung total pendapatan, total biaya, dan Rasio R/C, sedangkan efisiensi bisnis dianalisis menggunakan metode Titik Impas (BEP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bisnis ini menghasilkan keuntungan bersih sebesar IDR 1.232.058,35 per bulan, dengan Rasio R/C sebesar 1,15, yang menunjukkan bahwa bisnis ini menguntungkan. BEP pendapatan sebesar IDR 433.868,92, dan BEP produksi sebesar 2.818,64 bibit, jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan produksi aktual yang mencapai 60.000 bibit, yang membuktikan efisiensi bisnis. Disarankan untuk memperbesar skala produksi, memperluas jangkauan pasar, mengadopsi teknologi, dan secara rutin mengevaluasi Rasio R/C dan BEP untuk mempertahankan profitabilitas. | |||||||||
