Abstract

This study aims to identify: dominant factors, less dominant factors, and factors that influence the learning motivation of class XII students majoring in Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering at Vocational Schools. This type of research is included in a quantitative approach with survey methods. The samples used in this study was grade 12 with a total of 86 students. The sampling techniques used in this study are simple random sampling and purposive sampling. The results of this research show that: 1) the dominant factor that influences students' learning motivation is the learning outcome factor, an indicator of dynamic elements in learning and teaching with an eigenvalue of 2.520. 2) the less dominant factor that influences students' learning motivation is the default factor, an indicator of the student's condition with an eigenvalue of 1.307. 3) factors that influence learning motivation are ideals/aspirations, student abilities, student environment, dynamic elements in learning and learning, and teacher efforts in teaching.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: faktor dominan, faktor kurang dominan, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa kelas XII jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif di SMK. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kelas 12 dengan jumlah sebanyak 86 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling dan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa ialah faktor pembelajaran holistik indikator unsur dinamis dalam belajar dan pembelajaran dengan nilai eigenvalues sebesar 2,520. 2) faktor kurang dominan yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa ialah faktor dukungan eksternal indikator kondisi siswa dengan nilai eigenvalues sebesar 1,307. 3) faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar ialah cita-cita/aspirasi, kemampuan siswa, lingkungan siswa, unsur dinamis dalam belajar dan pembelajaran, dan upaya guru dalam pengajaran.
