Abstract

The factor causing the low learning process of students in understanding technological sciences today is the need for extracurricular activities that are side by side with one model that is predicted to be able to overcome this, namely the project-based model (Project Based Learning). Robotics extracurricular is one of the extracurriculars in the information and technology category which is a very appropriate solution to provide knowledge about current technological sciences that need to be developed. This research aims to provide an overview of the implementation of the model Project Based Learning through robotics extracurricular program activities for SDIT Widya Scholar students. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method approach where data collection uses data in the form of words and images. There were 18 resource persons in this study, consisting of 1 deputy principal, 2 extracurricular teachers and 15 students. The research results show that the extracurricular robotics program activities through the PjBL model carried out by extracurricular teachers run in accordance with the plans prepared and carry out learning activities according to the syntax. On implementing the model Project Based Learning It can be seen that students are able to contribute actively, show skills, creativity, innovate, collaborate and show project results

Additional Information: Faktor penyebab rendahnya proses pembelajaran peserta didik dalam mengetahui ilmu-ilmu teknologi di masa kini maka perlunya ekstrakurikuler yang berdampingan dengan salah satu model yang diprediksi mampu mengatasi hal tersebut yaitu model berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning). Ekstrakurikuler robotika merupakan salah satu ekstrakurikuler kategori informasi dan teknologi merupakan solusi yang sangat tepat untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai ilmu-ilmu teknologi masa kini yang perlu dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai implementasi model Project Based Learning melalui kegiatan program ekstrakurikuler robotik pada peserta didik SDIT Widya Cendekia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif dimana pengumpulan datanya menggunakan data yang berupa kata-kata, dan gambar. Narasumber pada penelitian ini berjumlah 18 orang yang terdiri 1 orang wakil kepala sekolah, 2 orang guru ekstrakurikuler dan 15 orang peserta didik. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kegiatan program ekstrakurikuler robotik melalui model PjBL yang dilakukan guru ekstrakurikuler berjalan sesuai dengan perencaanaan yang disusun dan melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai dengan sintak. Pada pelaksanaan model Project Based Learning dapat terlihat peserta didik mampu berkontribusi aktif, menunjukan skill, kreativitas, berinovasi, kolaborasi dan menunjukan hasil proyek.
