Abstract
This study tested the effect of watering interval application and concentration of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) from elephant grass roots on the yield of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). This study was conducted from September to November 2024 at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The research used a factorial Randomized Group Design (RGD). The first factor was the PGPR watering interval (P) consisting of 3 levels: once a week, once every 2 weeks, once every 3 weeks. The second factor was the concentration of PGPR elephant grass roots (G) consisting of 4 levels: 0 ml/1,000 ml of water, 10 ml/1,000 ml of water, 20 ml/1,000 water, 30 ml/1,000 ml of water. The results of the study showed that the PGPR watering interval of once every 2 weeks gave the best effect on plant height, number of leaves per clump, root length, and wet weight of tubers per clump. The concentration of elephant grass root PGPR of 20 ml/1,000 ml of water gave the best effect on the parameters of plant height, root length, and wet weight of tubers per clump. There was an interaction effect between the combination of watering interval and concentration of elephant grass root PGPR, namely a watering interval of once every 2 weeks with a concentration of 20 ml/1,000 ml of water on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves per clump, root length, and wet weight of tubers. While the combination of a watering interval of once every 3 weeks and a concentration of 0 ml/1,000 ml of water gave the best effect on the parameter of the number of leaves per clump.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh interval penyiraman dan konsentrasi pemacu pertumbuhan tanaman dari akar rumput gajah terhadap hasil tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai dengan November 2024 di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah interval penyiraman PGPR (P) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu seminggu sekali, 2 minggu sekali, dan 3 minggu sekali. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi PGPR akar rumput gajah (G) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu 0 ml/1.000 ml air, 10 ml/1.000 ml air, 20 ml/1.000 air, dan 30 ml/1.000 ml air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interval penyiraman PGPR 2 minggu sekali memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun per rumpun, panjang akar, dan bobot basah umbi per rumpun. Konsentrasi PGPR akar rumput gajah 20 ml/1.000 ml air memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, dan bobot basah umbi per rumpun. Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara kombinasi interval penyiraman dan konsentrasi PGPR akar rumput gajah yaitu interval penyiraman 2 minggu sekali dengan konsentrasi 20 ml/1.000 ml air terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun per rumpun, panjang akar, dan bobot basah umbi. Sedangkan kombinasi interval penyiraman 3 minggu sekali dan konsentrasi 0 ml/1.000 ml air memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter jumlah daun per rumpun. | |||||||||
