Abstract
The school gives high priority to fitness education. The purpose of this study is to examine the use of smartwatches to measure the physical fitness levels of 10thgrade students at sman 2 krakatau steel cilegon, who are participating in the Physical Fitness Gymnastics (skj 2024) activities. This research was conducted qualitatively descriptively with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. To ensure its validity, triangulation techniques were used. The research results show that the use of smartwatches can help students monitor their fitness levels, such as heart rate, step count, and calories burned. In addition, smartphones increase students' awareness of the importance of exercising. However, there are several issues that hinder its use, such as limited access to devices, battery life, and sensor inaccuracies in certain conditions. Schools can offer technical training, ensure adequate infrastructure, and create supportive applications for analyzing student fitness data to address these issues. This research shows that the use of wearable technology in physical education classes can help students better evaluate their health and encourage them to be more proactive in maintaining their health.

Additional Information: | Sekolah memberi prioritas besar pada pendidikan kebugaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari penggunaan smartwatch untuk mengukur tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa di kelas 10 sman 2 krakatau steel cilegon, yang melakukan kegiatan Senam Kesegaran Jasmani (skj 2024). Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Untuk memastikan validitasnya, teknik triangulasi digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan jam tangan pintar dapat membantu siswa memantau tingkat kebugaran mereka, seperti detak jantung, jumlah langkah, dan jumlah kalori yang terbakar. Selain itu, ponsel pintar meningkatkan kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya berolahraga. Namun, ada beberapa masalah yang menghalangi penggunaannya, seperti keterbatasan akses ke perangkat, daya tahan baterai, dan ketidakakuratan sensor dalam beberapa kondisi. Sekolah dapat menawarkan pelatihan teknis, memastikan infrastruktur yang memadai, dan membuat aplikasi yang mendukung untuk analisis data kebugaran siswa untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi yang dapat dipakai di kelas olahraga dapat membantu siswa mengevaluasi lebih baik kesehatan mereka dan mendorong mereka untuk lebih aktif menjaga kesehatan mereka. | |||||||||
