Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy and financial behavior on the consumptive behavior of the millennial generation with income as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative and descriptive approach. The object of this research is Bina Bangsa University Banten, using a sample of 100 respondents. Questionnaire answers were measured with an interval scale of 1- 10. The data were analyzed using the help of Smart PLS software version 3.0. The results of this study state that: 1) Financial literacy has a significant effect on the consumptive behavior of the millennial generation. 2) Financial behavior has a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior, 3) Income can mediate the relationship of financial literacy to millennial consumptive behavior but is not significant. 4) income is able to mediate the relationship between financial behavior and millennial consumptive behavior, although it is not significant.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh financial literasy dan financial behavior terhadap perilaku konsumtif generasi milenial dengan income sebagai variabel moderating. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini adalah Universitas Bina Bangsa Banten, menggunakan sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Jawaban kuesioner diukur dengan skala interval 1-10. Data dianalisis menggunakan bantuan softrware Smart PLS versi 3.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa: 1) Financial literasy berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif generasi milenial. 2) Financial behavior berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif, 3) Income dapat memediasi hubungan financial literasy terhadap perilaku konsumtif milenial namun tidak signifikan. 4) income mampu memediasi hubungan financial behavior terhadap perilaku konsumtif milenial walaupun tidak signifikan. | |||||||||
