Abstract
This study is motivated by grade VI primary school students with intellectual disabilities in SLB Negeri Tanjungpandan who have difficulty in understanding the concept of numbers 1-10. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using count on! media in improving the understanding of the concept of number in children with moderate intellectual disabilities in SLB Negeri Tanjungpandan. The type of research method used is experimental research with a one group pre-test post-test design. The data collection techniques used are using tests and documentation. The subject criteria used in this study amounted to 3 (three) children. The resulting research results are seen from the difference in the value of the results of the pre-test phase and the post-test phase, which shows an increase in both the number concept indicator and the number symbol indicator. The results obtained with the average value in the pre-test phase were 54, while the value after the treatment or treatment by the researchers in the post-test phase increased with an average value of 78. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, Thitung = 0 was obtained, while the price of Ttabel = with a real level α = 0.05 and a sample of N = 3 obtained Ttabel = 0, then H0 was rejected because Thitung = Ttabel, meaning that the hypothesis proposed by researchers in this study can be accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Count On! media is effective in improving the understanding of number concepts in children with intellectual disabilities.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh peserta didik kelas VI sekolah dasar yang memiliki hambatan intelektual di SLB Negeri Tanjungpandan yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep angka 1-10. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan media count on! dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep angka pada anak dengan hambatan intelektual sedang di SLB Negeri Tanjungpandan. Adapun jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test post-test. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Adapun kriteria subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 (tiga) anak. Hasil penelitian yang dihasilkan dilihat dari perbedaan nilai hasil dari fase pre-test dan fase post-test yang menunjukan peningkatan baik pada indikator konsep angka maupun indikator simbol angka. Hasil yang dihasilkan dengan nilai rata-rata pada fase pre-test adalah 54, sedangkan nilai setelah diberikan perlakuan atau treatment oleh peneliti pada fase post-test mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata yakni 78. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis, diperoleh Thitung = 0, sedangkan harga Ttabel = dengan taraf nyata α = 0,05 dan sampel N = 3 diperoleh Ttabel = 0, maka H0 ditolak karena Thitung = Ttabel artinya hipotesis yang telah diajukan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima. Maka dari itu dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa media Count On! efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep angka pada anak dengan hambatan intelektual. | |||||||||
