Abstract

Understanding concepts is very important for students in measuring student achievement in learning. Low understanding of concepts will have an impact on students' success in understanding the material. To determine the level of students' conceptual understanding, a test instrument is needed. Instruments that are able to measure students' complete understanding of concepts, such as implementing the 4TMC- based diagnostic test instrument assessment. The aim of this research is to determine the level of validity and teacher response to the Zoho Forms- based 4TMC diagnostic test instrument to measure the level of understanding of junior high school students' concepts on the moving theme we live. This development research refers to model modified from Sugiyono which consists of 6 stages, namely: 1) potential problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) design revision, 6) product testing. The expert subjects and samples in this research were 3 lecturers as evaluation experts, and 3 science practitioners, as well as 44 junior high school students VIII Data was collected using interview sheets, validation sheets, and teacher response questionnaires to determine the validator's assessment of the test instruments developed. Based on the expert validation results of the 4TMC diagnostic test instrument, the validity results were 95.7% (very valid) and the teacher response questionnaire results were 95% (very high). So that the test product developed can be used as an evaluation tool in measuring the level of understanding of junior high school students' concepts and is proven through the development of the 4TMC diagnostic test which can make it easier for teachers to carry out assessments, and helps teachers in measuring students' level of understanding through very high levels of teacher questionnaire responses.

Additional Information: Pemahaman konsep sangat penting bagi siswa dalam mengukur pencapaian siswa dalam belajar. Rendahnya pemahaman konsep akan berdampak pada keberhasilan siswa dalam memahami materi. Untuk mengetahui tinggi rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa dibutuhkan sebuah instrumen tes. Instrumen yang mampu mengukur pemahaman konsep siswa secara utuh, seperti menerapkan penilaian instrumen tes diagnostik berbasis 4TMC. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat validasi dan respon guru terhadap instrumen tes diagnostik 4TMC berbasis Zoho Forms untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa SMP pada tema bergerak kita hidup. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada model pengembangan yang dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono yang terdiri dari 6 tahapan yaitu: 1) potensi masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain, 5) revisi desain, 6) uji coba produk. Subjek ahli dan dan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 3 dosen sebagai ahli evaluasi, dan 3 guru IPA, serta 44 siswa SMP kelas VIII. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar wawancara, lembar validasi, dan angket respon guru untuk mengetahui penilaian validator terhadap instrumen tes yang dikembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli instrumen tes diagnostik 4TMC mendapatkan hasil validitas sebesar 95,7% (sangat valid) dan memperoleh hasil angket respon guru sebesar 95% (sangat tinggi), sehingga produk tes yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi dalam mengukur tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa SMP dan dibuktikan melalui pengembangan tes diagnostik 4TMC dapat memudahkan guru melakukan assessment, dan membantu guru dalam mengukur tingkat pemahaman siswa melalui tingkat respon angket guru sangat tinggi.
