Abstract

Natural Sciences is a science that is related to how to systematically find out about problems related to natural phenomena, so that science is not only about mastering knowledge but is also a process of discovery in the form of knowledge products. Emphasizing this process can be done by developing a basic skill called Science Process Skills. However, based on PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) research, students' science process skills have decreased. The low level of students' science process skills is due to the fact that there is still a lot of monotonous learning and only developing a few skills so that they prioritize the end result rather than the process. Therefore, this research was carried out with the aim of producing a product in the form of an E-LKPD based on Guided Discovery Learning which contains indicators of Science Process Skills on the subject of valid additives and to find out the level of student response to the readability of the product so that it can be used in the process. This research was carried out using the Research & Development method with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development and Disseminate) developed by Thiagaradjan. However, this research is limited to the development stage. Based on the validation results, the E-LKPD developed was declared valid with a validity percentage of 88.64% which was declared Very Valid based on the average assessment of all validators. Based on the readability percentage, students obtained an average percentage of 79.32% based on aspects of appearance, practicality and effectiveness of the development product. Based on the results of research data analysis, it can be concluded that the E-LKPD that has been developed can be continued at the next stage, namely the Disseminate stage.

Additional Information: Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) merupakan ilmu yang berkaitan dengan cara mencari tahu terkait persoalan yang berkaitan dengan gejala alam secara sistematis, sehingga IPA bukan hanya tentang penguasaan pengetahuan tetapi juga merupakan proses penemuan berupa produk pengetahuan. Penekanan proses ini dapat dilakukan dengan mengembangkan suatu keterampilan dasar yang disebut Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS). Namun berdasarkan penelitian PISA (Program for International Student Assement) Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa telah mengalami penurunan. Rendahnya Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa dikarenakan masih banyak pembelajaran yang monoton dan hanya mengembangkan beberapa keterampilan sehingga lebih mengutamakan hasil akhir dibandingkan dengan proses. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa E-LKPD berbasis Guided Discovery Learning dengan memuat indikator Keterampilan Proses Sains pada pokok bahasan zat aditif yang valid dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat respon siswa terhadap keterbacaan produk untuk dapat digunakan dalam proses. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Research & Development dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Development dan Disseminate) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagaradjan. Namun pada penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap pengembangan (Development). Berdasarkan hasil validasi, E-LKPD yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dengan persentasi kevalidan sebesar 88.64% yang dinyatakan Sangat Valid berdasarkan penilaian rata-rata seluruh validator. Berdasarkan persentase keterbacaan siswa memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 79,32% berdasarkan aspek tampilan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan produk pengembangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD yang telah dikembangkan dapat dilanjutkan pada tahap selanjutnya yaitu tahap Disseminate.
