Abstract
Archival management is the process of managing archives carried out by an institution, agency, or organization to achieve planned goals. In its application in the Banten Province DiskominfoSP, various problems were found such as format mismatches when archive creation took place, the archive transfer process did not go well, the archives stored in the record center were not arranged properly according to the archival classification code and the archive depreciation process had not been carried out properly in the Banten Province DiskominfoSP office record center. The purpose of this study was to determine the Archives Management at the Banten Province Communication, Informatics, Statistics and Coding Office. The theory used in this research is the theory of Archives Life Cycle according to Soetrisno and Renaldi. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, literature study and documentation study. The results showed that Archival Management at the Banten Provincial Office of Communication, Informatics, Statistics and Coding was not fully optimal, because there were still obstacles such as when archive utilization took place there were difficulties when finding back archives that had passed the age of 1 year, there were archives that were only in the form of soft files, employees who did not return the loaned archives before being asked back by the archive manager, archives that were lost when archive utilization took place, the submission of archives to the archive depot and the destruction of archives.

| Additional Information: | Manajemen kearsipan adalah proses pengelolaan arsip yang dilakukan oleh suatu lembaga, instansi, atau organisasi untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah direncanakan. Dalam penerapannya diDiskominfoSP Provinsi Banten ditemukan berbagai permasalahan seperti Ketidaksesuaian format pada saat penciptaan arsip berlangsung, tidak berjalannya proses pemindahan arsip dengan baik, arsip yang disimpan pada record center tidak tersusun dengan baik sesuai dengan kode klasifikasi kearispan dan belum terlaksananya proses penyusutan arsip dengan baik di record center kantor DiskominfoSP Provinsi Banten. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Manajemen Kearsipan Pada Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika, Statistik dan Persandian Provinsi Banten. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Daur Hidup Arsip menurut Soetrisno dan Renaldi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Manajemen Kearsipan pada Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika, Statistik dan Persandian Provinsi Banten belum sepenuhnya optimal, sebab masih terdapat kendala seperti pada saat pemanfaatan arsip berlangsung adanya kesulitan ketika penemuan kembali arsip yang telah lewat dari usia 1 tahun, terdapat arsip yang hanya berupa softfilenya saja, pegawai yang tidak mengembalikan arsip yang dipinjamkan sebelum diminta kembali oleh pengelola arsip, arsip yang hilang ketika pemanfaatan arsip berlangsung, belum dilakukannya penyerahan arsip ke depo arsip dan pemusnahan arsip. | ||||||
