Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is one of the horticultural plants belonging on the Asteraceae family and is a popular vegetable crop. The study aims to analyze the effect of consentration of cow rumen liquid organic fertilizer and plant growth regulator on the growth and yield of Lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L). The research was arranged in a randomized block design with two factors. The First factor was the consentration of cow rumen liquid based organic fertilizer which consists of four levels, namely 0 ml/l; 18 ml/l; 24 ml/l and 30 ml/l. The Second factor was the consentration plant growth regulator which consists of four level 0 ml/l; 15 ml/l; 22,5 ml/l and 30 ml/l. The results of the study showed that the administration of a consentration of 24 ml/l gave the best results for the parameters of the height of the plant 1 weeks after planting (WAP) 6,85 cm, 2 WAP (9,11 cm) and 6 WAP (22,47 cm). Number of leaves at age 1 WAP (4,30 strands), 3 WAP (5,41 strands) and 6 WAP (7,50 strands). Leaf width at age 4 WAP (6,07 cm) and 6 WAP (9,70 cm). Leaf length at age 2 WAP (4,40 cm), 3 WAP (7,07 cm), 4 WAP (11,92 cm), 5 WAP (14,72 cm) and 6 WAP (16,12 cm). Plant height weight (0,94 g) and wet weight of plants (17,87 g). The treatment of plant growth regulator consentration with a consentration of 30 ml/l only gave the best results for the length parameter leaf length 2 WAP (4,57 cm). There was an interaction between the provision of cow rumen liquid based organic fertilizer and plant growth regulator only on the height parameter of plants aged 2 WAP 10,40 cm.

Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi pupuk organik berbahan dasar cair rumen sapi yang terdiri dari empat taraf yaitu 0 ml/l; 18 ml/l; 24 ml/l dan 30 ml/l. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi zat pengatur tumbuh yang terdiri dari empat taraf 0 ml/l; 15 ml/l; 22,5 ml/l dan 30 ml/l. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian konsentrasi 24 ml/l memberikan hasil terbaik untuk parameter tinggi tanaman 1 minggu setelah tanam (MST) 6,85 cm, 2 MST (9,11 cm) dan 6 MST (22,47 cm). Jumlah daun pada umur 1 MST (4,30 helai), 3 MST (5,41 helai) dan 6 MST (7,50 helai). Lebar daun pada umur 4 MST (6,07 cm) dan 6 MST (9,70 cm). Panjang daun pada umur 2 MST (4,40 cm), 3 MST (7,07 cm), 4 MST (11,92 cm), 5 MST (14,72 cm) dan 6 MST (16,12 cm). Bobot tinggi tanaman (0,94 g) dan bobot basah tanaman (17,87 g). Perlakuan konsentrasi zat pengatur tumbuh dengan konsentrasi 30 ml/l hanya memberikan hasil terbaik untuk parameter panjang daun 2 MST (4,57 cm). Terdapat interaksi antara pemberian pupuk organik cair rumen sapi dan zat pengatur tumbuh hanya pada parameter tinggi tanaman umur 2 MST 10,40 cm.
