Abstract
This study constructs a shift in livelihood strategies in the Sindangsari Village community from the agricultural sector to the non-agricultural sector. The livelihood strategies applied by the Sindangsari Village community are generally to become landowner farmers and farm laborers. This study also aims to analyze the economic welfare of farmers after making a shift and what kind of livelihood strategies are currently being applied. The area was determined intentionally, namely (purposively) in the Pabuaran sub-district, Serang Regency. This study uses a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. The data obtained through the interview process, observation and literature study so that findings can be found that are expected to be used as the development of knowledge about the shift in livelihood strategies of the Pabuaran sub-district community. The results of this study reveal that the shift in livelihood strategies occurred in the Sindangsari Village farming community due to inappropriate economic factors, minimal wage income, agricultural problems and a shift in the function of agricultural land. so that many people make shifts, especially farmers. So that it requires the Sindangsari Village community to apply a livelihood strategy by trading and opening other businesses. This study is associated with the Scoones (1998) Livelihood Strategy pattern theory.

Penelitian ini juga ditujukan untuk menganalisis kesejahteraan ekonomi petani setelah melakukan pergeseran serta strategi nafkah seperti apa yang diterapkan sekarang. daerah ditentukan sengaja yaitu (purposive) di wilayah Kecamatan Pabuaran Kabupaten Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografis Adapun data yang diperoleh melalui peroses wawancara, pengamatan dan studi Pustaka sehingga dapat ditemukan temuan yang diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pengmbangan ilmu pengetahuan tentang Pergseran strategi nafkah dari masyarakat kecamatan pabuaran. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pergeseran strategi nafkah terjadi di masyarakat tani desa sindangsari dikarenakan karna faktor ekonomi yang tidak sesuai, pendapatan upah yang minim, adanya masalah pertanian dan terjadinya pergeseran fungsi lahan pertanian. sehingga banyaknya masyarakat yang melakukan pergeseran terutama petani. Sehingga mengharuskan masyarakat Desa Sindangsari menerapakan strategi nafkah dengan berdagang dan membuka usaha lain. Penelitian ini dikaitkan dengan teori pola Strategi Nafkah Scoones (1998). | |||||||||
