Abstract

Creativity is the ability that emerges from the child’s own personal and of course there is encouragement from the people closest children to develop an idea that is marked by a process of expressing the ability to think so as to produce products or work of art. This study aims to determine the effect of fingerprint painting activities on the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. The research was conducted in group B at ICPU Baitul Huda Kindergarten Binuang Serang-Banten district. The method used in this research is quasi experimental research and design nonequivalent control group design with sample 26 children. group B1 with a sample of 13 children as an experimental class and group B2 with sample of 13 children as control class. Instruments used in the researchers. Quantitative data analysis using Microsoft excel. The results showed that, the average creativity of control class children during pre test of 18,69, experiment class at pre test of 20.08 and the average creativity of control-grade children increased during post test by 4.77%and the average creativity of the experimental classroom increased by 32.78%. This shows that there is influence between fingerprint painting activity of children aged 56 years and its effect is 3.393%.Thus the benefits of fingerprint painting is to improve the ability of creative thinking, fine motor training and as a medium of expression for children.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan fingerprint painting terhadap kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian dilakukan di kelompok B TK ICPU Baitul Huda Binuang Serang-Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuasi eksperimen dan desain nonequivalent control group desain dengan sampel 26 anak. kelompok B1 dengan sampel 13 anak sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelompok B2 dengan sampel 13 anak sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa pedoman observasi. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan Microsoft excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, rata-rata kreativitas anak kelas kontrol saat pre test sebesar 18,69, kelas eksperimen saat pre test sebesar 20,08 dan rata-rata kreativitas anak kelas kontrol meningkat saat post test sebesar 4,77% dan rata-rata kreativitas anak kelas eksperimen meningkat sebesar 32,78%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kegiatan fingerprint painting terhadap kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun dan pengaruhnya sebesar 3,393%. Dengan demikian manfaat fingerprint painting yaitu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, melatih motorik halus dan sebagai media media ekspresi bagi anak. Kata Kunci: kegiatan fingerprint painting, kreativitas, anak usia 5-6 tahun.
