Abstract
This research was carried out with the aim of improving the skills in making advertising poster designs for deaf middle and high school students at SKh Griya Mandiri. As is the condition in the field where students have not been equipped with digital skills at school due to limited learning devices that support digital skills learning activities, so that deaf students have not mastered advanced skills. This research uses a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this research were 3 middle school/graduate deaf students. Data collection was carried out through tests and then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test. Based on calculations carried out using the Wilcoxon test in this study, it was found that the result of Tcount=6 and the critical value of the Wilcoxon test was at a significance level of 0.05 with N=3, Ttable=0. This shows that H0 is rejected because Tcount is greater than Ttable. Therefore, the hypothesis proposed in this research is accepted. This shows that the application of Canva digital media can improve the skills in making advertising poster designs for deaf middle and high school students at SKh Griya Mandiri.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan keterampilan membuat desain poster iklan bagi peserta didik tunarungu SMP dan SMA di SKh Griya Mandiri. Sebagaimana kondisi di lapangan dimana peserta didik belum dibekali keterampilan digital di sekolah karena keterbatasan peragkat pembelajaran yang mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran keterampilan digital, sehingga peserta didik tunarungu belum menguasai keterampilan tingkat lanjut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan one group pretest-post test design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik tunarungu SMP/Akh berjumlah 3 orang. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui tes kemudian dianalisis melalui Uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang dilakykan dengan uji wilcoxon dalam penelitian ini didapat bahwa hasil Thitung=6 dan nilai kritis uji wilcoxon pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan N=3, Ttabel=0. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak karena Thitung lebih besar dari Ttabel. Oleh karena itu hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima.
