Abstract
This study aims to look at the description of students misconceptions and reduce the quantity of students who are mediated using PhET based Virtual Physics Laboratory (VPL) on the ohm legal concept through three stage diagnostic tests with the method used in this study is the pre-experimental method, while the research design is used is one group pretest-posttest. The development of tests in the form of questions and reasons was given to high school students with a number of questions of 16 multiple choice questions. Based on the research that has been done, the ability of students at the pretest to understand the concept as much as 27% after doing learning the percentage of understanding the concept of students increases to 75%. While in the category of misconception from pretest of 29% it decreased to 5%, so that from this percentage decrease value it can be said that student misconceptions can be overcome after learning is done with Virtual Physics Laboratory (VPL) using PhET.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran miskonsepsi siswa dan menurunkan kuantitas siswa yang teremediasi menggunakan Virtual Physics Laboratory (VPL) berbasis PhET pada konsep hukum ohm melalui tes diagnostic tiga tahap dengan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pre-eksperiment, sedangkan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest. Pengembangan tes yang berupa pertanyaaan dan alasan diberikan kepada siswa tingkat SMA dengan jumlah soal 16 buah pilihan ganda. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka kemampuan siswa pada saat pretest memiliki paham konsep sebanyak 27% setelah dilakukannya pembelajaran persentase paham konsep siswa meningkat menjadi 75%. Sedangkan pada kategori miskonsepsi dari pretest sebesar 29% menurun menjadi 5%, sehingga dari nilai penurunan persentase ini dapat dikatakan bahwa miskonsepsi siswa dapat teratasi setelah pembelajaran dilakukan dengan Virtual Physics Laboratory (VPL) menggunakan PhET. | |||||||||
