Abstract
This study aims to describe the profile of female heads of households (PEKKA), especially in the PEKKA Anyelir group in Aren Jaya Village, East Bekasi District, describe the implementation of the female head of household (PEKKA) empowerment program and describe the achievements of the female head of household (PEKKA) empowerment program. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method which was carried out from January to November 2024. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation with data sources, namely a program manager, two program trainers, three PEKKA Anyelir group administrators and seven PEKKA Anyelir members. Then the data was analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the lives of group members and administrators vary, where a small part had to live without the presence of a deceased husband, while most had to live with a husband who was no longer working. Their lives are also quite good with the various small home businesses that they are engaged in. Although, they must be assisted by the government with the social assistance they receive. The implementation of the female head of household (PEKKA) empowerment program has also gone well and in accordance with the needs of program participants. However, there are shortcomings in the form of no efforts to improve the characteristics and attitudes of program trainers and limited budget available. Even so, many benefits are felt by program participants, namely increased income that affects the fulfillment of clothing, food, family education aspects and increased knowledge related to family health and increased participation of female heads of households (PEKKA) in the community. However, the aspect of fulfilling housing needs and religious aspects has not seen much improvement felt by program participants. Therefore, this empowerment program needs to continue to be developed by paying attention to the sustainability of the program by supporting program participants to develop their skills so that they can develop the businesses they are engaged in and increase the scope of the program so that it can be felt by the entire community.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan profil perempuan kepala keluarga (PEKKA) khususnya pada kelompok PEKKA Anyelir di Kelurahan Aren Jaya Kecamatan Bekasi Timur, mendeskripsikan implementasi program pemberdayaan perempuan kepala keluarga (PEKKA) serta mendeskripsikan capaian dari program pemberdayaan perempuan kepala keluarga (PEKKA). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang dilaksanakan pada Januari hingga November 2024. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan sumber data yaitu seorang penanggung jawab program, dua orang pelatih program, tiga pengurus kelompok PEKKA Anyelir dan tujuh anggota PEKKA Anyelir. Kemudian data dianalisis melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kehidupan anggota dan pengurus kelompok berbeda-beda dimana sebagian kecil harus hidup tanpa kehadiran suami yang telah meninggal, sedangkan sebagian besar harus hidup dengan suami yang tak lagi bekerja. Kehidupan mereka pun tergolong cukup baik dengan usaha kecil rumahan berbeda-beda yang mereka geluti. Meskipun, harus dibantu oleh pemerintah dengan bantuan sosial yang mereka terima. Implementasi program pemberdayaan perempuan kepala keluarga (PEKKA) pun telah berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta program. Walaupun, terdapat kekurangan berupa tidak adanya upaya peningkatan karakteristik dan sikap untuk pelatih program serta terbatasnya anggaran yang tersedia. Meskipun begitu, banyak manfaat yang dirasakan oleh peserta program yaitu peningkatan pendapatan yang berpengaruh dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan sandang, pangan, aspek pendidikan keluarga serta peningkatan pengetahuan terkait kesehatan keluarga dan meningkatnya partisipasi perempuan kepala keluarga (PEKKA) di masyarakat. Namun, aspek pemenuhan kebutuhan papan dan dan aspek agama tidak banyak peningkatan yang dirasakan oleh peserta program. Maka dari itu, program pemberdayaan ini perlu terus dikembangkan dengan memperhatikan keberlanjutan program dengan mendukung peserta program mengembangkan keterampilan diri sehingga dapat mengembangkan usaha yang digelutinya serta meningkatkan cakupan dari program tersebut sehingga dapat dirasakan oleh seluruh masyarakat. | |||||||||
