Abstract
Indonesia's abundant oil and natural gas reserves are resources that will be used as fuel for equipment. means of transportation. Prototypes are made to test and verify ship designs. This allows engineers to evaluate the performance, stability, durability, and reliability of ships under real conditions. By building a prototype, problems or deficiencies in the design can be identified early. Real-world testing allows developers to optimize ship designs to be more effective, safe, and efficient. The method used is the Spiral design where the conceptual model of the process influences ship design. Mission requirements (tender) are the starting point for the concept design phase, leading to initial power estimates, propulsion systems, hull shapes, general arrangements, initial hydrostatic and hydrodynamic calculations. The results of this study were obtained where the prototype ship had a weight of 11.86 Kg and a loading of 5.4 Kg. The maximum speed of the Prototype ship is 6 knots, the ship's maneuver is obtained with a radius of 71 °, then the RAO data using buoys and without buoys, heaving 3.5 cm and 7.3 cm then rolling 74 ° and 60 ° and pitching 30 ° and 12 °. From the results of this study, it is concluded that the Baruna Dharma ship is feasible to be made into a production ship or a real ship

Pengujian dunia nyata memungkinkan pengembang untuk mengoptimalkan desain kapal agar lebih efektif, aman, dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Spiral desain dimana model konseptual dari proses untuk mempengaruhi desain kapal. Persyaratan misi (tender) adalah titik awal untuk fase desain konsep, yang mengarah ke estimasi daya awal, sistem propulsi, lambung kapal bentuk, susunan umum, perhitungan awal hidrostatik dan hidrodinamik. Didapatkan hasil dari penelitian ini dimana kapal prototype memiliki sebesar 11,86 Kg dan pembebanan 5,4 Kg. Didapatkan kecepatan maksimum kapal Prototype sebesar 6 knot , didapatkan manuver kapal dengan radius 71°, kemudian data RAO menggunakan buoy dan tanpa buoy, heaving 3,5 cm dan 7,3 cm kemudian rolling 74° dan 60° dan pitching 30° dan 12°. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan kapal Baruna Dharma layak untuk di buat kapal produksi atau kapal nyata. | |||||||||
