Abstract
This study aimed to explore students' perceptions of the English Club extracurricular activities in enhancing speaking proficiency at SMAN 2 SERANG. It employed a case study design with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected from 10 active English Club members in Grade 11 through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The study analyzed student perceptions across three dimensions: cognitive, affective, and conative aspects. The findings showed that students generally perceived a positive perception of the English club, viewing it as an effective platform for enhancing their English speaking abilities. The club provided a supportive environment and offered engaging activities, such as debates, storytelling, and speeches, which significantly contributed to the development of pronunciation, confidence, and fluency. However, students also faced challenges, including limited vocabulary, difficulties with pronunciation, and anxiety during practice speaking. These challenges highlighted areas that required further attention to maximize the effectiveness of the club.
