Abstract
This research is motivated by the practice of prostitution which until now continues to be a problem and becomes one of the professions and business fields for economic purposes. If left unchecked, it will cause an increase in the number of sexually transmitted diseases. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to evaluate the Practice of Tangerang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2005 concerning the Prohibition of Prostitution. This research method is a qualitative descriptive approach, this study uses analysis through interviews, observations, and document studies. The theory used in this study is the theory of policy evaluation according to William N. Dunn (2003:610). Based on the results of the study of the evaluation of Tangerang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2005 concerning the Prohibition of Prostitution, its implementation has run smoothly, but there are several things that need to be optimized comprehensively in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and equality. In these components, the implementation of Tangerang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2005 concerning the Prohibition of Prostitution in Karawaci District seems smooth, but in fact it has not run with optimal results.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh praktik prostitusi yang sampai kini merupakan permasalahan yang sering terjadi dan menjadi salah satu ladang usaha untuk tujuan ekonomi. Apabila dibiarkan akan menimbulkan peningkatan jumlah penyakit menular seksual. Adapun fokus rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana mengevaluasi Praktik Peraturan Daerah Kota Tangerang Nomor 8 Tahun 2005 tentang Larangan Prostitusi. Metode penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan analisis melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori evaluasi kebijakan menurut William N. Dunn (2003:610). Berdasarkan hasil kajian terhadap evaluasi Peraturan Daerah Kota Tangerang Nomor 8 Tahun 2005 tentang Larangan Prostitusi, dalam pelaksanaanya telah berjalan dengan lancar, namun ada beberapa hal yang perlu dioptimalkan secara komprehensif dari segi efektivitas, efisiensi, dan perataan. Pada komponen tersebut yang menyebabkan pelaksanaaan Peraturan Daerah Kota Tangerang Nomor 8 Tahun 2005 Tentang Pelarangan Prostitusi di Kecamatan Karawaci terkesan lancar, namun pada kenyataanya masih belum terlaksana secara optimal. | |||||||||
