Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of the needs of pedestrian facilities and crossing facilities and design recommendations using the concept of active living at Campus A of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University which aims to determine the types of pedestrian facilities and crossing facilities needed by Campus A of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University and to find out the design recommendations for pedestrian facility needs using the concept of active living at Campus A of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The data collection method used in this research is direct observation. Data collected in the form of vehicle traffic volume, pedestrian volume, road crossing volume, and road geometric data. This research is located at Campus A of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, precisely on Jalan Raya Jakarta Km. 4, Pakupatan, Panancangan, Kec. Cipocok Jaya, Serang City, Banten Province. Campus A of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University does not yet have crossing facilities and makes it difficult for crossers to cross the road, especially when the traffic flow is very heavy such as in the morning or afternoon. In addition, the sidewalks on campus have a kerb height that is too high and not in accordance with the guidelines, making it difficult for elderly and elderly pedestrians to climb the sidewalk. The results of this study indicate that the recommended crossing facility is a Pelican with waiting stalls with the maximum PV2 results occurring at 07.00 - 08.00 which is 8491882500 (8 × 109), the P value (crossing volume) of 272 and the V value (vehicle volume) of 5587.5. The effective width recommendation on the sidewalk of Campus A of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is made into 2 sizes, namely 2.5 meters on the sidewalk after the gate and 1.5 meters on the sidewalk inside Campus A of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Complementary facilities that support the concept of active living that can be recommended on the sidewalks of Campus A of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University according to the guidelines, namely providing lighting, guideways, wayfinding signs, seating every 10 meters on all sidewalks and trash bins every 20 meters along the sidewalk path.

Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi langsung. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa volume lalu lintas kendaraan, volume pejalan kaki, volume penyeberangan jalan, dan data geometrik jalan. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Kampus A Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa tepatnya di Jalan Raya Jakarta Km. 4, Pakupatan, Panancangan, Kec. Cipocok Jaya, Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten. Pada Kampus A Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa belum memiliki fasilitas penyeberang dan membuat para penyeberang jalan merasa kesulitan untuk menyeberang, terutama saat arus lalu lintas sangat padat seperti pada pagi atau sore hari. Selain itu, trotoar dalam kampus memiliki ketinggian kerb yang terlalu tinggi dan tidak sesuai dengan pedoman, sehingga menyulitkan pejalan kaki orang tua dan lanjut usia untuk menaiki trotoar tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas penyeberangan yang direkomendasikan berupa Pelican dengan lapak tunggu dengan hasil PV2 maksimum terjadi pada pukul 07.00 – 08.00 yaitu sebesar 8491882500 (8 × 109), nilai P (volume penyeberang) sebesar 272 dan nilai V (volume kendaraan) sebesar 5587,5. Rekomendasi lebar efektif pada trotoar Kampus A Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa dibuat menjadi 2 ukuran yaitu 2,5 meter pada trotoar setelah gerbang dan 1,5 meter pada trotoar dalam Kampus A Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Fasilitas pelengkap yang mendukung konsep active living yang dapat direkomendasikan pada trotoar Kampus A Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa sesuai pedoman yaitu menyediakan lampu penerangan, jalur pemandu, rambu wayfinding, tempat duduk disetiap 10 meter di semua trotoar dan tempat sampah di setiap 20 meter di sepanjang jalur trotoar.
