Abstract

This study aims to examine the optimization of POC (Liquid Organic Fertilizer) with the introduction of endophytic fungi on the growth of curly red chili (Capsicum annum L.) hydroponically and as a recommendation for learning resources for E-Modules for practical work in the biotechnology sub-concept. The plant growth parameters measured were plant height, wet plant weight and dry plant weight. This study was conducted from June 2023 to June 2024. Testing the optimization of POC (Liquid Organic Fertilizer) banana corm with the introduction of endophytic fungi on chili plants (Capsicum annum) using RALF (Factorial Completely Randomized Design). There were two treatments, namely the type of endophytic fungi and the type of fertilizer. This study was conducted until the chili planting period was 4 weeks. The roots of curly red chili plants (Capsicum annum) at 4 MST were subjected to the root coloring stage. The results of observations of chili plant growth were calculated using ANOVA if they showed significant differences (p = > 0.005) then continued using DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test). The percentage of root colonization, spore density and diversity index were also calculated. The results of the study found that curly red chili plants in the treatment of POC AB Mix (P0), 100% banana stem POC, (P1) and 50% banana stem POC (P2) with the introduction of endophytic fungi VY (CE1) were the highest growth rates. The results of root staining showed variations in endophytic fungal infections in the form of hyphae, appressorium, and chlamydiospores. The highest percentage of endophytic fungal colonies was in VY (82%) and the lowest in CEM 6 (40%).

Parameter pertumbuhan tanaman yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman, berat basah tanaman dan berat kering tanaman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2023 hingga Juni 2024. Pengujian optimalisasi POC (Pupuk Organik Cair) bonggol pisang dengan introduksi cendawan endofit terhadap tanaman cabai (Capsicum annum) menggunakan RALF (Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial). Ada dua perlakuan yaitu jenis cendawan endofit dan jenis pupuk. Penelitian ini dilakukan sampai masa tanam cabai 4 minggu. Akar tanaman cabai merah keriting (Capsicum annum) pada 4 MST dilakukan tahapan pewarnaan akar. Hasil pengamatan pertumbuhan tanaman cabai dihitung menggunakan ANOVA jika menunjukkan beda nyata (p = > 0.005) maka dilanjut menggunakan DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test). Dihitung juga persentase kolonisasi akar, kepadatan spora maupun indeks kenakeragaman. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan tanaman cabai merah keriting pada perlakuan pemberian POC AB Mix (P0), POC bonggol pisang 100 %, (P1) dan POC bonggol pisang 50 % (P2) dengan introduksi cendawan endofit VY (CE1) adalah yang paling tertinggi tingkat pertumbuhannya. Hasil pewarnaan akar menunjukkan adanya variasi infeksi cendawan endofit berupa struktur hifa, apresorium, dan klamidiospora. Persentase koloni cendawan endofit tertinggi pada VY (82%) dan terendah pada CEM 6 (40%).
